The beginning
It all started when she met him. She was a princess, expected to marry some King she never met. She had dressed as a commoner and snuck out to see the world before she was took away to a new kingdom for the rest of her life. She met such a handsome man with the most beautiful eyes and voice. She fell in love almost instantly and knew she must meet him least she regret it forever more. She approached him and smiled so sweetly as she gabe her fake name, barely listening to him as she was so lost in his eyes. She flushed a red shade when she realized she heard not a single word he had said, only noticing when he laughed. He gently introduced himself again, his eyes twinkling. She knew she was helplessly falling for him and blurted the truth about who she truly was and how she wished to run away instead of marrying the King. He had a odd look as he grinned, telling her of a weeping willow tree quiet far from the castle and village. "Bring your gold and jewels, wear a wedding dress for we shall elope and run away."She knew she would and she looked excited, hurrying back to the castle before they could notice her missing. She gathered everything she owned up, waiting for midnight before leaving the castle in her wedding dress. She walked and walked and walked till her feet bled but she was finally at the tree.. But he was no where to be seen. Did he lie? Perhaps she was too late or was lost. She called out for him, receiving not a single call back. She set the bag of gold and jewels aside as she wept, turning to look at the tree. A figure came up to her and the tree with a wicked laugh as he plunged the knife into her back to pierce her heart, "You naive princess, falling for a thief so easily.." It was the man from before, having planned to rob her blind and murder her under the willow. His plan had worked, leaving the poor bride-to-be under the tree as he left with the treasure. She vowed under the tree that she would find true love, and that she would never give it up..
