“EVERY TIME WE go out to Gwinnett County to do a job, a deputy sheriff starts following us,” Steve said.
“It’s almost like they’re watching for us,” Roger said. “They even pulled us over a couple of times last week and again this week.”
“They don’t give us a ticket or anything, they just take a lot of time looking at our licenses, registration, and insurance. Then they inspect the truck and trailer to see if they can find anything wrong. They also make a few nasty comments about cocksuckers and stuff,” Steve said.
“We always have one or two helpers with us who are earning ten dollars an hour while all this is going on, and it’s costing us,” Roger said.
“It costs even more when the truck is driven by our crew chief,” Steve said.
