Uchiha Mana

Young Uchiha Itachi and Uchiha Sasuke waited patiently at the bench in the hospital as their mother gave birth to their new siblings. It’s been six months and the suspense were killing them. Four-year-old Sasuke played with his fingers the whole time, twirling his thumbs around, while his brother, Itachi, tapped his foot on the floor. “Onii-san, how much longer?” Sasuke asked. Itachi turned to his younger brother. “Not long.” Itachi said. Moments later, the door of their mother’s room opened, and came out a woman with brown hair tied to a bun, and following the woman was their father. The two Uchiha brothers turned to their father, waiting for any news about their mother. “Thank you, for helping my wife.” Fugaku said. The woman bowed at Fugaku and smiled. “There’s no need to thank me. It’s my job after all.” The woman then turned to the two Uchiha boys. “Itachi-kun, Sasuke-kun, do you want to see new baby sister?” Smiling, the two boys jumped off the bench and went with their father to the room. But before Fugaku could close the door, Sasuke looked back at the woman who helped their mother and saw the woman embrace a girl his age. Must be her daughter, Sasuke thought. After the door was closed, Sasuke turned to where his mother was. Uchiha Mikoto sat on her bed with a bundle wrapped in a pink blanket in her arms. Fugaku softly pushed his sons to their mother to see their sister. Finally, able to move their feet, Sasuke and Itachi walked towards their mother. Mikoto smiled when she saw her sons approach her and her new daughter’s side. “Itachi, Sasuke, meet your new baby sister.” Mikoto said. Sasuke smiled at the sight of their new baby sister. She was small, had a head full of black hair, soft and light skin, pink lips, eyes with long lashes. The only thing that Sasuke could describe his new sister was beautiful. Itachi was the first to reach for their sister, he placed a hand on her little body, feeling her move under his touch. He smiled. Sasuke reached for his sister, he touched the baby’s hand with his finger, and moments later, his finger was held by the small hand, and her eyes opened. Sasuke’s grinned at the sight. “What’s her name?” Sasuke asked. “Mana.” Mikoto said. “Uchiha Mana.” “I’m really happy to finally meet you, Mana-chan.” Sasuke said. “I promise to protect you, Imouto.” “So will I.” Itachi added. “I promise, Imouto.”
