The Elevator - Part Nine

Chapter Twelve

"Has he still not come to get us out of here?" Silver asked sounding rather cross, opening her eyes to find she was still where she was when she had fallen to sleep didn't please her at all.

"Yep, I think he might have forgotten about us" Jacob stated as he rolled over to go back to sleep.

"Well I demand he gets down here and lets us out of here" Silver demanded

"Let me know how that works for you" Toby said sarcastically, having heard the conversation.

"It's not working yet, where are the guards that are meant to be down here, watching us" She asked

"Clearly not outside the cell, I told ya, they've all forgotten about us" Jacob muttered, still trying to go back to sleep but finding it difficult due to Silver's demands and moaning, as usual, he thought to himself.

"They can't just forget about us" Silver protested. "We need to get back to the mall." She added

"We need to figure out how we're going to get out of this situation first, the mall has to wait." Toby informed her

"Why couldn't the gate just be in this room, somewhere." she moaned

"Usually that's because it would make it too easy, so we just have to enjoy ourselves along the way" Jacob mumbled getting frustrated, "Please Silver some of us need an extra hour" he told her clamping his eyes shut, trying to go back to sleep.

"I think we need to make a lot of noise, so they remember we're stuck down here" Silver suggested

"This is the first time we've been able to sleep properly, let's just enjoy that for now" Jacob advised.Just wanting to go back to sleep.

"I'm with Jake" Toby chipped in, wishing Silver would just be quiet.

"How can you guys even sleep in this situation"

"Simple, we close our eyes" Jacob replied

"Would be easier too, if you would stop talking" Toby stated sleepily

"Alright, there's no need to be rude" Silver said with a sulky facial expression. She sat herself down against the wall, "It's no use I can't sleep" she mumbled

"We can" Toby snapped losing his cool with the over chatty Silver.

"WAKE UP, ALL OF YOU" Prince Arthur shouted, Silver jumped awake

"I'm awake" She said sleepily "Was never fully sleeping" she lied, Toby looked at her and shook his head , knowing full well she was, due to her sleepy eyes and the fact he hadn't been woken by her constant talking.

"We all were" He noted

"You're all to come to the castle, King Uther has beckoned you all" he stated firmly.

"Really, Oh this is so great" Indigo squealed leaping up on to her feet, she practically ran to the door that Prince Arthur was opening, closely followed by his guards. "This is so cool" she added as she stepped out of the cell, standing where Arthur had pointed for her to go.

"None of this has been cool" Silver moaned, as she closely followed Indigo out of the cell.

"You'll have to excuse her, she's the grump of the group Toby told Prince Arthur, also standing where he was instructed to go. They followed Prince Arthur and his guard while two other guards stood behind them, Indigo looked around her looking at their surroundings, taking in every stone wall with candles lit on them, the excitement creeping in again slowly.

King Uther was sitting in his rightful place as they entered the room he stood up, as they were ushered in front of the King himself

"Ahh this is sooo amazing" Indigo squealed her excitement taking over her,

"Indi' control yourself, we're in front of the King" Jacob told her

"I know, that's what's so amazing" she said, Jacob shook his head at her disapprovingly, while Silver and Jacob tried not to laugh at her.

"Sorry your highness, she's clearly happy to see you" he told the King

"Yet I know of none of you" He answered, "You dress strange, your not from here and yet there is no record of you anywhere" He pointed out, obviously he had asked around about them, hence why they had been in the cells for so long, it had been days since they had seen anything outside of their cell.

"Where we're from is not very well known" Indigo answered trying to think of somewhere she could say but had nowhere in her mind to say, she just knew they would have to say somewhere.

"Where is it your from?" The king questioned

"You wouldn't have heard of it, we just live in the forest way away from here, nothing really to know about the place." She said hoping that would be enough

"Its a town called Birmingham" Jacob answered.

"I do not recall this place." He stated, "Arthur I want your men to locate this place" he told his son

"Yes father, we will do what we can." Arthur agreed.

"Make sure you do" King Uther told him, "They couldn't just have come out of thin air" he added, Silver laughed

"You wouldn't think that was possible but-" she started

"Sorry sire, she's not all there, so please don't take her too seriously" Toby remarked.

"Hey-" Silver started to complain

"Not here" Jacob whispered to her, she looked at him confused.

"For now though they will stay as guests in the castle" King Uther said, "Allow this woman to be seen by Gaius" he added talking about Silver

"She needs more than a doctor" Toby whispered to Jacob who tried not to laugh

"But I don't-" Silver started to protest.

"Yes she does" Jacob interupted her

"This is the best day of my life" Indigo said with the biggest smile she had ever had.

"Clearly had a sheltered life then" Toby teased, she gave him the whatever facial expression.

After the meeting with King Uther they were all shown to their rooms, which had made Indigo even more happier than she was already.
