Chapter SixThat night I sat on the porch again and continued my search. So many web sites had books about mind-reading. I should write my own! I couldn’t think of a title, so I spent most of the night doing research to determine what had already been written. When my laptop battery died I turned on the porch light and hand-wrote an outline of my possible book, along with a couple poems about how I was feeling. The next morning, Nia opened the front door and looked out at me. “Didn’t you get any sleep?” she asked. I stretched and walked in the house with her. “No. I’ve got a great new book idea.
