Chapter ThreeOn Monday I walked into work, wondering what the April day would bring. I hadn’t had to walk into the next room to make copies yet, so I felt pretty good. Jerod walked in a little late. I saw him out of the corner of my eye, and then turned in my chair like I’d never seen him before. We normally wore jeans and T-shirts to work, but today Jerod was dressed up in black slacks, a black collared shirt, and a blue tie. What was this? He seemed hotter than I’d ever noticed. I shamelessly gave him elevator-eyes, open-mouthed. “Do I look good?” he thought shyly. I nodded, but then turned around as I realized everybody was staring at me.
