When Robbie found the edge of Goliad, he drove back away from the city limit a couple of miles and hid his Jeep. Then he readied himself for a long walk around town since he was on the opposite side from where he initially met Josephine and her son. Robbie needed to see them, and particularly Joey, her eldest son. It was time to see if he had rounded up a couple of friends to scout out the counties to the north.
There were a couple of areas where he didn’t have a lot of brush cover. He spotted an old mission on the left side of the city and decided to check it out. He’d never seen this type of architecture before, and it interested him. Everything was built out of stone and tree limbs.
