THE alpha slowly walks in our direction, as he gets closer and closer, I feel the tension around me more intense. But instead of being afraid and retreating, the vampire who was by my side proudly faced it. He was snickering as if he was teasing the wolf in front of him, even more, to make him angrier.

“Your territory you say? Aren’t you being too proud announcing that this place is yours yet numerous wolves were killed here?” the vampire glance at me and smirks, “not only by hunters but vampires are easily getting in and out in both borders.” He added.

The Alpha's blue eyes sparkled even more because of the moonlight around him, His emotionless face didn't even change even though the vampire next to me intentionally insulted him as the leader of his territory.

“The deaths of wolves are not my fault and part of my pack, if you want to criticize my leadership, I will not be affected by the simple insult you are doing now.” He said with a cold voice.

The fear I feel has increased, even more, a vampire and an unknown wolf are in front of me and are starting to fight, I almost forget the reason why I am here. I couldn’t even bring myself to stand on the ground when my knees gave out because of fear and weakness.

I was surprised when the emotionless face of the Alpha suddenly showed disgust and looked at me sharply. He looked at me for a few more seconds before returning his attention to the vampire, he took a few steps closer to us and sighed. “Get out of my territory, but I can kill you if that's what you want.”

“Why are you being considerate, Peter? Don't force yourself to pretend to be nice. Don't say you know this Luna that's why you're acting like that?” He jokingly asked the Alpha and carelessly pulled me by the arm to stand next to him. "If you know her, can you share her with me even for a few days?" He laughed maniacally and licked my left ear.

I could feel his long fangs scratch my skin causing it to have a small wound, the little blood that dripped from it he didn't miss to his sight and immediately tasted it. The hatred for what he did quickly flowed through my whole body, without my knowing, my right hand moved to slap his cheek making the both of us shocked.

His red eyes say what he feels about what I did, and his sharp nails gradually dug into my arm by the reason of his tighter grip on it. I couldn’t almost breathe out of what he was doing, I want to scream because of the pain.

My tears started to fall, I could only think of one way now. I looked at Alpha who was just looking at us, "please, save me." I begged him. I'm at a point in my life where I'm ready to beg just to save myself, if I die now, I won't be able to find Henry or even get revenge.

"Oh, now you are begging him to help you, haven't you wanted to see your beloved Alpha? What is his name again? Henry?” He said sarcastically and pushed me towards Alpha, "but never mind, I have no intention of fighting just for a useless Luna. Peter, this is not our last meeting, and I am looking forward to the next one.” It quickly disappeared in front of us before I could blink.

Only then did I realize the cold hand supporting me, he was like an iceman in extreme cold. I don't know if he is a wolf or a vampire now. I slowly raised my head to look at him, but I couldn't push him by the reason of I knew I would fall to the ground again.

“How long do you intend to hold me?” He asked with a menacing tone.

Even after the vampire who wanted to kill me left, I still felt that my life was in danger. With the sharp eyes of the alpha by my side, there is no certainty whether he will actually help me or just leave me alone here without care.

Even though I was weak, I slowly let go of my grip on his arm and took three steps backward away from him. At that time, it became clearer to me that he was fully naked, why did I just notice it now?!
