Peter just stared at the woman lying on the table, he can see the old man doing something but his attention is not focused on there. The word ‘Guardian’ kept repeating in his mind like a broken CD, he can’t believe that fate did the work just to make the woman stay on his side.
In the past few days, he thought about nothing but how he could make the woman stay by his side without any coercion. But it didn't occur to him that there would be an event where fate itself gave him the opportunity to get the woman in a faster way.
