Lily’s POV
We both went down to the kitchen in silence, I don’t know what goes wrong or what happened between us. The awkwardness in the surrounding is so intense and it really bothers me for some reason. Even the servant can feel uncomfortable while preparing all the food on the table.
“Thank you,” I said when she finally finished, “I will do the rest, you can go back to what you are doing earlier,” I said and give her the most respectful smile I know. She bows her head in a bid of goodbye to Peter but he did not respond even just a simple gesture.
