CHAPTER 12 Mark caught the Monday afternoon direct flight from Heathrow to Zurich – alone. The split with Kirsten hurt, but she had left him no choice. Before he left, he'd called Greenspan to get her severance package sorted. Call it a pang of conscience – a show of gratitude. Whatever, she deserved it. And Greenspan wasn't up to haggling. Around six, he checked into his hotel in Zurich. The Hotel an der Oper had been picked from a hat at his travel agency. It turned out to be more functional than comfortable, smallish but central.
