Fate

Once again Onix woke up in a sweat. This wasn't the first time, it had been happening almost every night for the last 3 months. The same dream every night; He was walking in a forest when a tall blurry figure appeared in front of him. Onix starts the run away but can't seem to find the exit of the forest and he ends up falling, Then he wakes up. Onix sat on the edge of his bed "Maybe tonight I won't run from it, I'll run towards it" he thought to himself, a few seconds later his mother called to him "Onix! Breakfast is ready!" "I'll be right there mother!" Onix said getting up and starting to get dressed. Today was his last day in his home town before he leaves for college tomorrow. He walked down stairs and sat down at the kitchen table and ate his breakfast. When he was done eating he kissed his mom on the cheek then walked out the door to go for a morning run. A few minutes into his run his birthmark on his arm started to glow, this started around the same time as the dreams. Onix shrugged it off and kept running. After his run he went up to his room and started to write in his Journal.. 'Today I had the same dream, I was walking into the forest and that figure appeared. I think tonight I'm not going to run from it. My stupid birth mark was flowing again, i wonder if it has anything to do with the dreams"he wrote down on in the journal then closed it. His mom walked into his room. "Onix dear, your father can't be here to see you off tomorrow. He has to work but he loves you and will miss you" His mom said with a smile "Mama don't make excuses for him, it's fine I didn't want him to be here anyway.. he never is" Onix said looking at a family photo on his desk of him, His mom, his dad, and younger sister who'd been missing for almost 5 years. "Now Onix don't be like that! Your father works very hard for this family. He might not be the best at being a father or husband but he's a good guy"Onix rolled his eyes and got up and started to finish packing. He packed the rest of his shirts and ties, some books and his journal. He picked up the family picture. He sighed and put the picture in his bag. The next day Onix hugged his Mother goodbye and picked up his bags and started to walk towards the spaceshipStation. He pulled out his phone and Put music on and hummed the song that was playing. When he got to the Spaceship station he bought a ticket to Vendal and aboard the ship. Within 20 minutes they were already zooming through the Galaxy to The Planet known as Casttlees. It's about a 4 hour ride there. He put his headphones on and fell asleep. When they landed he got off and got his bags before catching a shuttle to the University of Vendal. When he got there his bestfriend Cyrus was waiting for him at the steps. Cyrus was about 8'4 with huge red wings, He had black curly hair, His eyes were an Emerald green with hints of cyan. "Onix!! Welcome! So glad you made it!" He said running up to him and hugging him "Hey Cy! It's super nice here! Glad i made it too" Onix said excited hugging Cyrus back "How was the trip? Not long i hope" Cyrus asked happily "It wasn't, only about 4 hours tops than the 30 minute ride here" onix replied "Good to hear, Wanna tour around your new home after you get checked in" Cyrus suggested "Yeah sounds great! I'll text you when I'm done"Onix nodded "Alright, I'll be around here somewhere" Cyrus said. Onix walked into the building and went to the office, Got his dorm key and class schedule and then went and dropped off his things at the dorm. Cyrus gave him a tour of the school and the nearby parks, stores, and the Hunters Headquarters. Cyrus and Onix stood in front of the headquarters, Cyrus nugged Onix. "We get to work here! Are you excited?" "Yeah i am, Thank you for getting me a job at your family's company" "Of course man! You needed a job and we have some openings, beside in a few years ill run the place and you can be my side man!" Cyrus said in excitement. Onix got a sick feeling in his stomach. "I think I'm gonna head back to my dorm. Space lag is a b***h ya know" Onix said "Alright, see ya later"Cyrus said waving bye. Onix walked back to the dorm and layed down on his bed. His birthmark started to glow and he pulled the blankets on his bed up and covered Months later Onix was sitting at his office desk when cyrus came up to him "Here, We got another person, You should go as soon as possible" "Alright, I'll go today, What planet?" "Shadow i think might have moved, There's a tracker somewhere in your package" "Okay" Onix said, standing up and walking towards the space vehicles in the basement. He got in the elevator and pussed the basement button. He went to his spaceship and got in. He looked at the paper that Cyrus had gave him 'Vin Monroe tracker number #1829137' Onix entered the number on the screen in his spaceship and it beeped showing a red dot on Earth. He took off to Earth. When they landed on Earth They were in the middle of world war 4. Everything was bare and the smell of smoke and gunpowder filled the air the sky was covered in smoke and you could barely see the sky. He walked towards the red dot and came upon a small house in the woods. He walked up to the door and knocked "VIN MONROE?!" He called out. "U-uh, not here?" a voice replied "Open the door, Let's make this easy" "Are you going to kill me?" "No, just come outside or i will have to come in and get you" "Okay, okay, I'm coming.. Just dont shoot" The person said, They opened the door. The person was every tall and had dark Cyan skin with white spots, He had curly black hair and horns that were about the height of the He had bright yellow eyes and his tail was long and were the same color as his skin.He was holding a small child in his arms, couldn't have been more than 2. He was black with white spots and green eyes. Onix looked at the child then looked up at the man. "Vin Monroe?" "Yes..?" "Please come with me" onix said handcuffing him and then picking up the child and leading them back to his ship. He put Vin in the back seat and the child in the front seat. He took off back into space to return to the Hunters HeadQuarters. On their way back a red light flashed on the dashboard. Onix looked at it and became worried. The little boy looked at Him. "Why is it flashing?" "It's nothing, We have to land on the nearest '' onix said, making a right and landing on a nearby planet. He stepped out of the Spaceship and pulled out a circular device and started to talk to it. A few minutes later he put it down and walked back to the spaceship, grabbed a few things and opened the back door. "Get out, we have to walk somewhere" Onix said. Vin stepped out and looked at the child who hoped out and walked over to Vin and he picked him up. He looked at the deceive and then started to walk into the forest. "Come on" He said, Vin followed him. A few hours later The sun was setting and onix sat down on the ground in a small clearing "Sit, were going to rest here for the night" Vin sat down, The child went and sat next to Onix and looked at him and smiled. Onix looked at the child and smiled back. "What's your name?" He asked. The child responded in a unknown language "His name is Arrow, Sorry he only speaks Enderman" Vin said "Are you his father?" "Yes" "Where's his mother?" "Died during childbirth.. He's not directly mine but I've raised him since birth" "Oh, I'm sorry," Onix said. He looked at Vin and they both made eye contact. A purple blue gloss wiped over Their eyes. Vin smiled a little, Onix on the other hand jolted back and looked away pushing away the butterfly feeling in his stomach. He walked over to Vin and unlocked the cuffs, He then laid down "I'm going to bed, if i wake up and you're gone, me and you are going to have an issue" He said. Vin nodded and leaned against a tree. Onix soon fell asleep. The later it got the colder it got and Onix started to Shiver. Vin noticed him shivering and went over to him and laid down next to him and cuddled in. The birthmark on Onix's arm lit up and Vin's arm started to glow. He lifted up his sleeve and noticed that he and Onix both have the same birthmark. A feeling of lust and empathy waved over him. He cuddled him and Onix stopped shivering. In the morning when Onix woke up he smiled and cuddled Vin back. It took him a moment to snap out of it. He quickly got up and woke Vin up "Get up. We have to get going," he said blankly. Vin got up and picked up Arrow who was still asleep. They walked for quite some time, along the way Vin would pick flowers and hand them to Onix. He rolled his eyes and held onto the flowers. The birthmarks on their arms started to glow. Onix looked at Vin, then at his birthmark. He looked away and kept walking. Vin smiled and walked next to him and held his hand. Onix blushed and looked away, he didn't pull his hand away but instead he held his hand back. A few hours passed and Onix and Vin had talked and gotten to know each other. They both felt a connection to each other. Onix stopped walking and looked at Vin "Vin...I can't turn you in.." He said starting to cry "I'll be fine, Don't worry about me! We've come this far" Vin said with a smile "Run away with me, please, We can go somewhere no one will find us! We can-" "Then what? Keep running, we'd never have a break, Arrow would never have a normal life" "He'll be killed if I turn you two in.. I can't do that" Onix said, sobbing. Vin walked to him and hugged him tightly. The birthmarks on their arm lit up again and in that short moment it felt like nothing in the world could hurt them and they were free. At that moment They fell in love, like two lost souls finally found each other and could rest knowing that they had found their other half. When they let go of eachother Onix couldn't help but run back into his arms. "Please... run away with me.." Onix pleaded. Vin smiled and rubbed Onix's head. "My darling, I've alway felt like something was missing, but when You found me and I saw you Something in me felt complete and whole.. I don't care where we are as long as you're in my arms". Onix looked up at him "Promise?" "Promise." Onix picked up Arrow and grabbed Vin's hand and started to run.
