01: BROTHER'S TALK

TUNGSTEN WEST

MY brother and I had a colorful childhood. We hate each other or let's say I'm the only one who hates him. At mas nadagdagan pa ang pag ka disgusto ko sa kanya nang malaman kong sinaktan niya si Hale.

Hale is my only friend, and I treasure her. Maybe sometimes she's annoying because she's so stubborn, but she's still a friend of mine. She's the only one who can stand me and has the same interest as mine. 

When I found out that Cu -my brother- hurt her because of me. Agad akong nag tungo sa committee office to talk to my brother.

NANG marating ko ang committee office, ay hindi na ako nag abalang kumatok pa. I entered the room with black aura. 

"Wu!" gulat na sigaw ni Melliza. One of my brother's tails. 

I looked at her emotionless, napa atras ito nang masa-lubong ang tingin ko. My eyes linger around the office looking for my brother. When I finally found him, I walk towards him and punch his face. 

"OH MY GOD!" 

"Damn!"

"He's crazy." 

I heard a lot of gasp inside the office, my brother just smirked at me. 

"All of you out." Cu instructed. In just a second, kami na lamang ang natira sa office. "In case you don't know we were in the middle of a meeting Wu," he said calmly but deadly. 

"You think I care?" I replied with a cold stare.

"Stop being stubborn Tungsten. That girl is no good for you," he said referring to Hale. I laugh sarcastically. 

He wants me to be friendless again like before, huh?

"Leave my life alone Cu. Stop scaring Hale, she's not gonna fall for that. And I will not let you get your satisfaction," I said and walked out of his damn office. That's one of the reasons why I hate him, he hit ladies.

MILICENT HALE VALDEZ

NANG hindi ko pa din nakita si Wu noong lunch sa secret room ay napag desisyunan ko na lamang na mag tungo sa committee office. I knocked 3 times. 

"What do you need?" A girl with braided hair asked. If I'm not mistaken she's the Committee secretary. I don't usually smile but for her I did. 

"Is Cu around?" nakangiti pa din ng tipid kong tanong. Mukhang nagulat pa ito dahil sa pag tawag ko sa hari nila sa pangalan nito. Wala naman akong pakialam, pasimple akong napairap. 

"Uh... Who are you?" nag tataka niyang tanong. Ugh! Kailangan ba talagang interviewin pa para lang makausap ang lalaking 'yon?

"Milicent... Milicent Valdez," pag papakilala ko ngunit wala na ang tipid na ngiti sa labi ko. Bakas ang gulat sa mukha ng babae sa harap ko, malamang ay inaasahan na ng lalaking iyon ang pag dating ko. Tsh.

"Uh... Well, I'll call him. Wait here," she said then shut the door closed. Damn, did she just...?

A minute later, bumukas na muli ang pinto at inilabas no'n si Copper, nakangisi ito sa akin na para bang nag tagumpay ag plano niya, hindi ko siya pinakitaan ng ano mang ekspresyon dahil alam kong lalaki lamang lalo ang ngisi niya kapag ginawa ko iyon. Nah-uh Copper West. 

"Milicent, are you willing to leave my brother alone now?" nakangising aniya na nag pakuno't sa noo ko. What is he trying to say? And what the hell is he talking about?

"What are you talking about?" I asked full of confusion. Akmang may sasabihin siya ngunit hindi naituloy nang may humila sa braso ko. Nang lingunin ko iyon ay napa buntong hininga na lamang ako. It was Wu. 

Hinila niya ako palayo ro'n patungo sa pool area ng University. Nang makarating ro'n ay nag dagsa na ang mga tao. Anong meron?

"What happened here?" kuno't noong tanong ko sa nakangising si Tungsten. Oh no I know that smirk!  

"A murder case. And I'm sure the culprit is a smartass."
