I clasped my face and my hands onto the shiny black frame of the car. Tears welled up behind my eyes, and I sniffed hard, trying to push them back. Everyone was actually right. Maybe I was the delusional one here. I got carried away by each little kindness he showed me. They were all to his advantage. He never did any of that for me, nor for what I felt.
