Duke returns home. Some things are not right but he just can not seem to place them. Even his dog is quieter than usual. He tries to play with it to cheer him up. The dog at first is a little reluctant to go along with Duke's actions. But when Duke brings out its favorite snack, the dog comes running to him, cheerfully wagging its tail and barking. In its haste, it knocks over a small table in a corner where one of the other flowers Duke leaves in a vase lay dying. Duke laughed when the dog reached his side, remorseful to have made a mess, but at the forgiveness it saw in its human's eyes, its tail began to wag again. Duke fed the treat to the dog before going to clean up the mess.
Here there are differences. The vase is the same, but the flower is no longer dying and it is not the same
