I'm His Bodyguard

Napabaling ang atensyon ko sa cellphone nang makita kong tumutunog ito. Pinulot ko ito at nakita kong unknown number ang tumatawag. "Hello? Evans' phone." Sagot ko at tumahimik naman ang line. Napatingin ako sa screen ko at hindi naman ito nakapatay, kaya nagtaka ako kung sino yung tumawag. "I'll turn the phone off the-" "I can pay you whatever, I would like to buy a black tea, p-please." Nauutal na sabi niya. Napangisi naman ako. "Yes, although I do need to remind you that I would need a referral proof for your order." Sabi ko at narinig ko siyang lumunok.  First time customers are sometimes hard to deal with, but they give a hefty amount of price, so I can't really say no.  "Yes, I already have one. How long will my order take?" "Depends on where you are, but it will be no less than a week." Sabi ko at narinig ko siyang bumuntang hinga. "I see, I'm in Philippines, my name is Lucy Wild, I would love to give you a blank check for your service if this go well and cleanly." "I see, I'll arrive in two days time, I would update you and will give you the luxurious black tea you want. That's all, goodbye." Pero bago ko pa matapos ang tawag, nagsalita siya. "W-wait! How will you contact me or get the money?" Nakangisi ako na para bang nasa harap ko siya, pero napailing nang naisip kong para akong tanga. Tsk. "I'll find a way." Sabi ko bago binaba ang tawag. "What a bloody feud." Sabi ko nang makuha ko na ang document pagkatapos ko ibigay sakanya ang email ko. I usually have a different email for this type of work, but since it's still my first month of working, I'm using a personal email for now. Napakunot ako habang binabasa ang email. Strings will be tangled if this job is not done properly. And we have a pitiful one in the middle, interestingly depressing. "Ma'am." Tumingala ako at nakita ang underclassmen ko na si Oliver.  "Yes?" Sabi ko at bumalik sa pagbabasa. "I heard you received an order, I have here the docu-" "No need. I already got it." Sabi ko at iniwagayway ang printed email ni Lucy Wild that I printed just now. Napatango naman si Oliver at lumingon sa gilid niya na para bang nahiya siya. "Is there something you want to tell me?" Tiningnan ako ni Oliver na mabilis na umiling. "I see, you may get out then." Sabi ko at bumalik sa pagbabasa. Nabaling ang tingin ko sa isang section ng email. 'Avan Wild'. Lucy's child. "He's cute." Napailing ako sa naisip ko. "It's true that he's cute. But he's unfortunate." I sighed at saka nang matapos sa pagbabasa ay niligpit ko ang mga gamit ko at umalis. It's time for work.
