“Those two slept together and now she’s late. I’m telling you Ava she’s got to be pregnant. She was complaining about having morning sickness.” My mom tells Mrs. King

I crawl away from my hiding place and walk over to Damon; he was playing outside with Josh and Beck. I pull him away from them in a hurry. I look around making sure we were alone.
