Heaven in Hell

She stirred continuously in her sleep. Beads of sweat rolling down Her face, her eyes furrowed into a frown. It was obvious she was having a nightmare. " where am I?" Pearl wondered. She felt herself moving in the darkness. The nightmare was so intense, it felt like a reality. She kept moving not knowing where she was headed to. But she obviously had a destination. After a while, she saw herself standing before a massive castle - no it looked more like a fortress. Before one could say Jack Robinson, Pearl had materialized inside the fortress. She felt herself moving along the dark, gloomy corridor. She still had no idea where she was headed to. She stops in front of a huge door. The doorknob was shaped like a gargoyle. One look at the gargoyle could make even the bravest of hearts to shudder in fear. " How do I get in? Am I supposed to knock?" Pearl wonders. Again she materialized into the room. How she did it, she never knew. She scans the room, It had dim lights on the ceilings. On the left and right side, crooked candles with dim light decorated walls. There was no windows. A dining table with a torn red table cloth was in the centre of the room. No cutlery was on the table, except a goblet. Pearl looked up to see a person sitting on a throne, wearing a long black robe with a good covering the person's face. So Pearl was unable to see the hidden face of the person. She assumed it was probably a man, because she felt the dark and powerful aura of the person. Pearl shivers in fear. Suddenly, the door opened and a gigantic man walked in. The man walked towards the hooded person. Apparently both he and the hooded person were oblivious to her presence for some unknown reason. As the man, passed Pearl, She gasped in fright. The man looked very fierce and strange. He had long blonde hair and fierce blue eyes. A long ugly scar ran along his left cheek. He was extremely hefty and tall. Pearl had never seen anyone as tall as he was. He looked seven to eight feet tall, with long fingernails that looked like talon. He wore nothing except a pair of breeches. What made him more frightening to Pearl was when he knelt down to greet the hooded person. She saw a gruesome tattoo on his back. Three skulls were drawn in a triangular position. In the middle was a baby that had it's throat slit. "My Queen. I've searched everywhere, I left no stone unturned, but no sign of her. Not even a single trace. It's as if she just vanished into thin air" Pearl was shocked to hear the hooded person was actually a female. The woman did not move nor make any sound. She was so still one would think she was dead. Pearl held her breath in fear. "You'll find Pearl. I don't care how you do it, You must find her, come back with results not stupid excuses " The woman said in a cold voice. Pearl couldn't believe her ears. She felt a shiver run down her spine. "Did the woman just mention her name? Did she hear her wrongly? And why did the woman's voice sound so familiar?" A million question kept running in her head. She looked at the man still kneeling. He looked as though he wanted to protest but instead he said "Yes my Queen. I'll find her" "You definitely will find her, because I'll make sure you never live to tell the tale of what I'll do to you if you don't find her" Pearl gasped in fright. She wonders why the woman was so determined to find her. She was so preoccupied in her thoughts that she didn't see the man take his leave. She came back to earth when she heard the sound of the goblet crashing on the floor. She looks up to see the woman standing up, she curls her fist in anger. Her knuckles squeezed so tightly till they turned red. Pearl felt the dangerous aura feel out of the woman more. The woman raised her hands and turn it in a swirling motion and a strong wind blew everything in the room. The wind kept getting stronger and swept everything in its path. Even Pearl could feel could feel its impact despite her invisibility. The woman roared in anger "Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh" The wind suddenly stopped and everything in the air fell on the floor. The room was so scattered and the scary aura reeking out of the woman scared the hell out of Pearl. She kept her eyes trained on the woman. She was still squeezing get knuckles "I'll find you Pearl. wherever you are. No matter where you hide. I'll definitely find you, even if it's the last thing I do " The woman said and begin to laugh maniacally. Her laugh made Pearl shiver more. She didn't know who the woman was but she was sure the woman would fulfill her words. One could sense from her aura, she wasn't one to joke with her words. As the woman bent her head laughing like a freak. Her hood tilted to one side. As the woman raised her head up, the hood came off. Pearl froze. She couldn't believe her eyes. The woman looked exactly like Pearl.Though she looked like an adult version of Pearl. She looked four or five years older than Pearl, since Pearl was still a teen. They had the same long, shiny, black hair. The same delicate cheekbones, the same straight pointed nose. Everything was so alike. The only difference in their looks was their eyes. The woman had beautiful, fierce red eyes, while Pearl had captivating gray-ash eyes. The woman suddenly smiled and Pearl's heard skipped a beat. Even their smiles were alike, though the woman's smile was filled with cruelty. Pearl held her head. Her head was throbbing in pain, her heart felt as though it might explode. She was so lost in thought that she didn't see the woman walking towards her " Reveal yourself or you'll face my wrath" Pearl looks up to see the woman walking towards her. Apparently the woman had finally felt her presence. Pearl stumbled back in fear. Suddenly, Pearl felt a hand on her shoulder, the hand dragged her forcefully from the back so quickly that everything moved in a blur. Before She knew she was outside the fortress, and was still being dragged in the darkness. Suddenly the hand dragged her upwards and she felt herself land on something soft. She opened her eyes, her heart was still beating fast. She was back in her room. Her sisters slept peacefully beside her oblivious to her turmoil. She switched on the lamp by the bed. The light flickered and then shone dimly,which was strange because it was charged the previous day. She looked around the room and saw the silhouette of a person whose hands was stretched towards her. She screams.
