Emily’s POV
“Come in.” The voice came from behind the door as I knocked taking a deep breath and preparing myself mentally as today or tomorrow I’d to face him. Twisting the knob, I step inside but didn’t dare to look at him as I can feel his eyes upon me and I don’t want to see the hatred again in those pair of eyes from which I escaped a few months ago.
I can hear the clicking of his shoes as he moves from his place but I didn't realize that he aims to walk to me.
I start stepping back as his shoes came into my view which continued taking steps forwards till I got stuck against the wall in my back. This is just so humiliating, I don't know what he wants. I thought seeing me he would not even take a second to fire me, saying, 'You are fired, I don't keep useless people in my company.'
