Their marriage life was just a show for the other world and their family who were the only reason they were married to each other as they both didn’t find their mate even after so many years. Where Amelie had a will to give themselves a try, a chance to their parent’s decision, there, Colton hated even the idea of it. This book contains some sensitive content, therefore this is a warning beforehand for the ones who do not like or can't handle the triggering scenes to not read any further. Read only at your own risk, as it contains s****l and abusive content. Before stepping out and moving towards the new life, Emily turns around to have the glance of her self-made house into a home in the last three years. Today, it is their second marriage anniversary when she takes the decision which will just turn her life upside down. The decision to give her love, her husband the freedom he desires since the moment they got tied together. Freeing both of them, she too, from the suffocation which being together makes them feel. She thought her efforts, her love, her care might change the feeling in him but she was wrong, instead, his hatred for her increased even more, and that too to a level where he doesn’t want to even see her. Where there is no respect left for her, how can she still live at that place that too with the person who is the reason for feeling like this? Taking a deep breath, she wipes off the lone tear which slips rolling down her cheeks and smiles as the beautiful memories in this house come in front of her eyes. Though in these three years she has more memories of suffocation and tears she managed to have some memorable moments too and all the credits go to her families which include his dad and grandma too. “I will miss you.” Looking around she murmurs and turns around with one glance towards the room which belongs to the man who is the reason behind the action she decided to take. “I love you,” she says but then chuckles as if she just delivered a very funny joke. “I know, you don’t but I hope from tomorrow you can be the happiest as you won’t be able to see this ugly girl anymore.” Turning around and taking her suitcase she walks out of the house but not before grabbing the photo frame kept on the table near the door. It is not like Mr. Knight’s house would be any smaller than a big mansion, after all, he is the topmost billionaire of his New York. Walking all the way from the lawn towards the gate she looked towards the garden where with her own hands she planted all the beautiful flowers and the plants. While planting them she thought that just like these flowers will blossom and bloom within her care, the same way her relationship with her beloved husband will also blossom and bloom. One day or the other he will recognize her feelings, care, and efforts towards him and this house, and then their relationship will bloom. But, to her disappointment what he only noticed are how in her absence the flowers withered and none of her hard work mattered to him except her failures which in itself is her failure due to which she blames no one else for today but herself. If she would have succeeded in not letting those failures be failures then might be he would have noticed her and her love. “Hello…” she picks up the call as her phone starts to vibrate which also she did not disturb her husband but still she is standing walking through the lawn out towards the gate just for a forever goodbye. “It’s David, taxi driver of taxi NYC 7777, ma’am. You’ve called for a taxi, which is standing out the mansion you stated.” Said the taxi driver from the other side to which she nods her head and takes a deep breath. “Yes, I’m coming just give me a few seconds.” She replies and with the last glance at her last three years home walks out the gate with glassy eyes and walks towards the taxi straight which is standing in front of the gate only. Taking her bag and luggage the driver walks behind the car while she directly gets inside not being able to anymore look back as she won’t be able to stand on her decision. Resting her head at the back, she closes her eyes as everything plays like a replay in front of her eyes but instead of crying she smiles thinking that at least she is taking all the good memories with her and no negativity. She will just miss her family, be it her parents or his dad and grandma. They all are precious gems for whom she tries for the three years but she is not anymore able to see her beloved suffocating that too being her the reason. Taking out the passport from her bag she looks at it and thinks how she always wanted and prayed for one day to go to this place but never thought it to turn out like this. This situation she never ever even imagined she would have in her life as she never even wished bad for anyone but still today it is here. Exhaling loudly, she looks out the window when the driver questions her. “Ma’am, you seem to be from a wealthy family then why did you call for the taxi? You must have various cars in your house.” Hearing him she chuckles thinking how she also used to think of that house to be hers which turns out her to be just the guest for the last three years. “I love traveling in a taxi and the car we have is of my husband who is not at home whereas the others are at servicing.” She lied knowing it must be sounding very lame but right now she has no mood in her to think of an excuse to answer his confusion. After her response, a few seconds of silence takes place when the driver again questions her, “Then, is your husband not coming to see you off?” Feeling a little awkward and his question triggering she tries to contain herself and answers him calmly not wanting to sound rude. Sighing again, “No, he is busy.” And, just after two seconds she makes sure for the driver to not question her anything else she says, “Umm… can you drive fast?” Indirectly attempting to tell him to stop with his questionnaire. Closing her eyes, she enjoys the soothing wind fanning her face making her feel relaxed. The whole drive to the airport, she just rests bidding goodbye to her birth city forever or not she doesn’t know but yes, for a very long. . . . After an hour of drive, she opens her eyes as the car comes to a halt and the driver informs her, “Ma’am, we reached the airport.” I take a look around me and nod my head, getting out of the car while the driver gets my luggage. Looking up at the sky, I took a deep breath closing my eyes absorbing the essence of my city which I don’t know after leaving here when I will visit again. “Ma’am, your bags. Have a safe journey.” The driver wishes me to come with the bags and smiled. “Thank you,” she said thinking if he is this sweet with all his passengers or is it special for her. Grabbing the luggage, she sighed and walks inside the airport determined to not let otherwise thoughts come into her head anymore. It has been really tough for her to come here, so no way to step back. “I have to move on and live for myself, my dreams. Might be then I will be happy too.” She murmurs to herself, it has been a mantra since the second she decided to leave the house which for three years she has managed to turn into a home. Nodding her head, she goes for the security check, and where after everything is done she walks into the cafeteria as due to all the packing and everything she has not eaten anything since morning. She was so busy with packing and arranging everything in the house so that after her leaving her husband might not face any problem. How sensible, right? I don’t understand, why wives have to be so considerate towards their husbands when they don’t even give them respect. But, I think that is what is called love, where you don’t expect anything in return and it is not like he was respectful towards her. He was, but sometimes his anger which he always tries to keep inside him but comes out like an eruption which sometimes becomes difficult for the person standing in front of him to ignore. Just because of the love I have for him, I used to understand his temper. If you have to live with someone you don’t like and are forced into marriage you would always be irritated therefore, him being rude to me was understandable for me. But, now not anymore because the suffocation feeling has begun to grasp me seeing him every day like this. So, giving him his independence will be the best I thought and now…. Here I am. So here the story begins… are you all ready to share your time with Emily and Colton in their journey? I hope you all will love what their story has to unfold. Don’t forget to comment with your views.    I hope you all liked it and would love to read more. So, like and comment also share with your loved one. Your support will always be appreciated.
