Arrogant Bastard

Colton’s POV

“Hey man…” Screaming loudly from the other side he greeted which is enough to tell me that the work I has been assigned was done. Taking a deep breath, I laid back on the chair to relax as due to this I was not able to rest even a bit. It has been more than a year, since I told him to work upon it, and only one answer I got since then except today, “I’m on it man, but it is not easy so have patience.”

The patience word was till last year not in my dictionary which just used to piss me off whenever someone used to advise me to have it. But now, this word is not only added to my dictionary but also is like a daily dose to me since I started working on this project I assigned it to my dear friend, Cole who is just screaming so loudly that the world might get to know about this.

“Hey, are you there? Hey man, don’t tell me that you heard nothing I said till now.” He said indirectly warning me and saying that don’t dare to say yes or else you won’t get the information I have. Shaking my head I chuckled at him being his silly self. Seeing him, who is excellent and loyal towards his profession no one will be able to figure out that he has this of his too.

“Will you shut your mouth and say what you got?” I asked eagerly as I can’t wait to hear that he succeeded. He got the information I have been for and we can start our next step towards our winning this task. This task is the most important one for me which I already once has lost but don’t want to again when I know I can try and win it again.

“You will never change, right? Arrogant bastard, just get some courtesy bro, I know I am your friend but right now I called you for the professional deal. How did you get such tycoon with this arrogant face?” His questions made me miss the same spoken by someone.

Rubbing my forehead, “Are you going to share what you got or not? I am busy…” Before I can even complete my sentence he interrupts making me groan but smile.
