“Our kids!” She scoffed as she repeated the two words while staring at the wall in front of her. “Our kids is a chance of something impossible. And, for it, you are to be thanked.” She turned around with a smile on her face as if even the thought of this does not hurt her. “Of course, you were not wrong to take such a step. Nobody would ever want to have a family with a gold digger, I guess I would have done the same.” She shrugged her shoulder saying the last few words as if those were just so normal.
I understand it is a big matter to be called out a gold digger but seeing her trying to be so cool about it while carrying so much sorrow inside her was what made me feel guilty. And, not once but whenever I see purity in her eyes I feel the same. But again the old that day co
