Sophia POV Sophia walked across campus, her boots clicking sharply against the pavement. She was heading to the student lounge to meet some friends, but her thoughts kept wandering back to Alessandro. She hated how much he was occupying her mind. The tension between them, the constant push and pull—it should’ve been irritating, but damn if it wasn’t also... interesting. She hadn’t seen him much the past two days, and as much as she told herself she didn’t care, a small part of her missed their bickering. Their little war of words was something she’d gotten used to, even if it was all just a game to get under his skin. And yet, when she thought of his smirk, his dark eyes, the way he commanded attention without saying a word—she’d be lying if she said it didn’t stir something inside her.
