Chapter 19 The last few days in the estate

Everybody in the mansion was made aware of her pregnancy. The Head Master ordered everyone to take extra care of her, especially now that she was carrying three babies in her belly. She was well taken care of.
"Wow! I envy you!" her friend Mandy exclaimed.
She told her about her experiences in Siquijor and how happy she was now that she had become a mother.
"Your time will come! By the way, I would like to have you as godmother to my triplets," Aria said while Lucio was beside her working on something.
As usual, he can work at any time he wishes, and he spends so much time with Aria.
Mandy replied, who was very excited after hearing the news.
"Sure. Please extend my regards to Madam Aura and the girls," she added before ending the call.
Aria realized how lucky she was to have a very understanding husband and father-in-law. They spoiled her a hundred percent. Her belly is now getting bigger than in the last two months. She was able to graduate from her first trimester and is hoping she will eventually deliver healthy babies.
"Sweetie, I am going to Manila next week. I have been out of the office for almost five months now," Lucio advised his wife.
"Why all of a sudden?" she asked.
"Hey, it's been a while since we moved here. Remember? We talked about this already and it took me a long time before I made my decision. I can see you are in good form now and the Head Master loves you. A bunch of guys can look after you even if I am away," Lucio said, trying to convince Aria.
She insisted, "I know I can't do anything about it. Just promise me to always call me and remember you can go home anytime."
"I swear to do that," he promised.
"I love you and our babies," she whispered.
"I know. I love you more, the four of you!" Lucio replied, and kissed her on the forehead.
Lucio had noticed the changes in his wife after she had gone through the past few dark nights. She is more comfortable in her surroundings and moves more confidently than before. Lucio trusted the process and the people in the estate to take care of his family. His wife has easily fallen asleep, and he can't help but stare at her beautiful aura. That face he admired in their first meeting. It hasn't changed a bit. It's still the fresh young Aria.
In the morning, Lucio joined his wife in her morning walking routine. It inspires her that he is supporting her in anything she does.
It was five in the morning, and at six they should be finished with their routine.
Lucio handed the bottled water to his wife for a drink while resting. They are going back to the estate soon. They decided to walk down the garden and pool area to the tip of the forest land near the estate. They can't go further, as warned by Reyes. He was knowledgeable about the place and they trusted him.
"Let's go back to our room to change our clothes," Lucio said to his wife.
Together, they enter the mansion again. Before reaching the elevator near the library, Aria had a quick glimpse of the mirror-like door. It is moving. She stood still to observe if she had seen it right.
"What are you up to?" Lucio asked.
"Wait, I think I have seen that mirror moving," she said.
"Sweetie, there is nothing in there. How can it move?" Lucio questioned his wife.
"Weird!" she murmured.
"Yeah, right," he agreed.
"What did you say? That I am weird?" she asked.
"No, I didn't say that," Lucio answered in his defense.
Aria did not move, but instead, she was observing the mirror.
"Come on! You are just overthinking. Do not worry about the things that will just cause you trouble. Let's go now!" Lucio insists, but Aria disregards him.
She walks towards the mirror-like door and touches it. She felt like it was a normal mirror and she could see her reflection. Nothing's strange about it.
"See? Let's go!" Lucio persists.
They rode on the elevator to their room and did a quick change. When they are back in the dining area, no one is waiting for them.
"Where are the others?" Aria asked, concerning the absence of the Head Master and Keila.
Selda replied, "They had an early appointment, so they left before you came down, Madam."
"Okay, Selda, can you please join us? It would be great if you could eat with us," Aria continued.
"I am afraid I can't. The Head Master will not be pleased." She politely declined her offer.
Everyone is afraid of their family, especially with the headmaster around. Aria was just having thoughts of trying to step down to become closer to the staff, wishing to make the entire estate a happy place to live in. Nothing is greater than respect. However, there's a huge difference if the gaps between the employer and employee relationship are not that high.
"Don't force things that are not supposed to be. Let's just stick to it to avoid conflicts, okay?" Lucio said to his wife, who was quite disappointed.
The couple decided to have lunch outside of the dining area and brought it outdoors. In the clean pool area, there are also tables and chairs for the guests. They couldn't do this when the head master was home. He always preferred a formal dinner in his spacious dining area.
"You think you can carry on when I'm out of here?" Lucio asked his wife.
"I guess so, but it would always be best when you are here," Aria answered.
"Nice view," coming from the Head Master,
They stood up straight to pay him respect, and when he acknowledged it, they went back to sit.
"Where did you go?" Lucio inquired of Alexander.
He looks rugged in his soiled pants.
"Oh! I came from the farm," he answered.
"How about Keila?" Aria asked.
"She was here the whole day. As far as I know, she did not leave. Let me clean up first," the Head Master said.
"Father, can we ask Reyes to guide us to the farm? I want to see it before I go," Lucio asks for permission.
"Okay, sure, go ahead," Alexander agreed.
They go straight to the villa where the employees are residing to call on Reyes.
"What do you want?" Reyes replied.
"Hi, Reyes! We need your company going to the farm. I already told my father about this," Lucio informed the old aid.
"Alright, wait for me here," he answered.
They are surprised when Reyes gets back to them, driving a farm vehicle.
"Hop in! The farm is too big and it's hard to explore with your bare feet," Reyes shouted.
The couple rode to him in a terrain vehicle that has a seating capacity of four. He serves as their driver. He took them to a very wide lot. He pointed from one point to another to see how huge their property was. It was full of alpaca trees and other fruit trees. There were live stocks hunting for shades. There are farmers who are now getting ready to go home.
"Amazing! I love it!" Aria exclaimed as she savored the fresh air and the green surroundings.
"So this is what makes his day full, huh! Very nice!" Lucio said.
"Yes, you are right. He spends most of the days here," Reyes said.
"Oh, it's already six! We need to go home," Aria noticed at the time when it was getting darker.
Reyes drove them back to the main door of the state. They took a shower before going down for dinner.
"Head Master, I am going back to Manila!" Lucio informs Alexander.
"Okay, if it's required, go!" Alexander answered.
"I just want to ask for a favor. Please take care of my wife!" Lucio asked for a favor from his father.
Alexander moves his head up and looks him in the eyes.
"Of course! Aria is like a daughter to me and to Keila as her sister. You don't have to worry!" Alexander proclaimed.
"Thank you! I'll be visiting her to be with her and our babies. Maybe I can stay here much longer after the babies are delivered," Lucio said.
"Keila? What can you say?" Alexander to Keila, who is busy eating and seems like she is out of this world.
"Yeah, besides staff are everywhere to look after her. She will be fine. Aria is a strong woman," Keila replied.
Aria gives Keila a smile to thank her for the compliments.
"When are you flying to Manila?" Alexander asked Lucio.
"Next week, I have to be there. I will take the chopper on Sunday," he informed everybody.
They wanted to spend the rest of their days together, filled with good and happy memories. Aria is trying to be confident and show she can endure anything for her family.
