It took a few weeks for Henry to sign the divorce and for once in a long time. Tessa felt like a free bird.

Henry had hesitated at first but after all Elena's schemes he could not hesitate any further when he found out that Tessa was still alive and wanted a divorce. He felt Elena was right about Tessa trying to play him a fool.

Tessa walked into the tall skyscraper and went up in the elevator to the top floor. She had been given the position of the personal assistant to the CEO that she had never seen before. She was a bit nervous to meet him.

"Here it is, read and sign ma'am." She was handed the employees Terms and conditions but two things caught her eye.

The first was asking her to state if she had worked for any corporate organization. She ticked, No. She couldn't give any information about her past life so she would believe she hadn't had any experience before.

The next one was at the bottom of the page, it said pregnant women were not employed. She frowned, she needed this money so much. "I'll work for just a few months and hide it from them." She said as she signed the contract.

When she met him, to her surprise he wasn't the old geezer she thought him to be. Mr. Kevin Taylor was 35 and she 25, he was well built and a little taller than Henry, her Ex-husband.

She knew she shouldn't be comparing any man that comes her way to her Ex-husband but she couldn't help it he had the same surname with him, Taylor.

"Come in," He said when she knocked on his office. She pushed open the door and walked in.

He was more handsome with a perfect jawline and physique. He made every lady in the office drool any day he showed up. She couldn't place her fingers around it but she felt he looked a little bit like Henry although his temperament was cool and aloof.

He was single and was every lady's dream man that worked in that office. She knew very much that even if he was married many ladies would leap at any opportunity to seduce him.

But as for Tessa she found it hard to believe in love. She has turned down a lot of men that had been after her. She just wanted to give birth to her baby safely.

"My flight is already booked and I'll be leaving tomorrow." Mr Kevin said as he looked at Tessa. "Get ready for the trip to Hawaii'' he said and she nodded walking out.

Tessa was two months pregnant and going for a trip might be too stressful for her she thought but she didn't want to pass up the chance to go on a trip with Mr Kevin.

"I'll be fine," she said to herself as she stared down at her stomach.

She sat with him in his car as they sped to the airport. Tessa didn't care in the least at first, but now she felt pissed off that he didn't even glanced at her.

When they got to the airport she was surprised that they will be flying in his private jet.

"Tighten your seatbelts we're about taking off." The pilot said through the PA system.

As his personal assistant she was beside him so that she would tend to his every need and those few hours was the longest time they had spent together.

When they landed two black were already waiting for them. His bodyguards led them into the cars took and they drove into the city.

"Welcome Mr Kevin," a lady beamed a smile at him when the car pulled up at a towering sky scraper. The conference was going to be held here.

She held some files as she went up the elevator with Henry and the lady in a red dress. The elevator opened and they all walked out.

Tessa at the interior design of the building it was exquisite with floor-to-floor ceiling glasses where one could see the city, tiny cars and the amazing view of the city.

She was asked to wait in the conference waiting room while Kevin walked in. They were already a few mins late. She was just making herself comfortable in the comfy lounge when Kevin walked towards her looking angry. It was just 30 mins and he was already out.

"We are returning back to Florida." He said before walking towards the elevator.

"Now?" She asked as she hurried after him rushing into the elevator. The elevator started to move down and she stared into his fiery eyes.

"Yes.* He said coldy without even looking at her. "What really happened?" She asked but he only flinched a little. She was feeling a bit nauseous already and she couldn't fly back, not now.

But she didn't know what excuse to come up with so she only bit her lips and followed him back to the airport. The anger in his eyes was already scary enough and she didn't want to piss him off the more.

When they were up in the air in his private jet, She looked out of the jet's window as she felt the nausea increase, but then he suddenly turned to her.

"Don't you think, I'm a bit too lonely." He asked looking solemn.

Tessa was surprised at his question and she didn't know how to answer it. He had never said anything about his personal life before and she didn't know how to answer him.

"I'm lonely right?" He chuckled asking again. "Sorry for the weird question." He smiled and Tessa nodded her head wondering what it was all about.

"It was time I get a woman." He smiled as he turned to look at her.

Suddenly she felt nauseous and uncomfortable. She gripped the arm rest of the chair and vomitted. Kevin was surprised and jumped to his feets holding her steady. She looked into his eyes as she fainted.

She woke up to the sounds of beeping machines and doctors around her and she immediately realized that she was in a hospital.

"My head hurts," she said as she tried to move.

"Don't move, ma'am. You'll be fine." The doctor said.

After some checks and medication. Then someone entered, Mr Kevin. He walked up to her and sat beside her. "Your husband is here," the doctor smiled.

Her face reddened and she wanted to protest. "I'm not her husband." Kevin smiled.

"How do you feel now?" He asked. "I..am fine." Tessa said. She looked at him terrified and wondered if he had found out she was pregnant.

"I know you're pregnant." He said and she looked away. "We will talk about this when you feel better." He added.

He placed his hands on her head and felt her temperature. "The doctor said you just need some rest. When you have rested enough we will fly back to Florida." He said.

Tessa's eyes widened and she suddenly realized that he had made them fly his private jet back to Hawaii to get her to a hospital quickly.

"But why did you do that?" He asked.

"The doctor said if we were too late you could have probably lost the baby because your body was put on too much stress." He added. It was only natural that she broke down after so much stress since when she became pregnant.

"Why did I sign the contract?" Tessa bit her lips as she felt her heart race.
