Her decision

After her marriage with Henry, Tessa's father died a month after. He was the only family member close to her. Her mother had died when she was just two years old and her father had to remarry.

When she was 23 she married Henry who was a little bit better off than her family. She finally was able to leave her stepmom who did all it took to make life terrible for her. Tessa knew why she did all that; She wanted her son Albert to inherit her father's property.

Her father loved her so much and had shielded her from everything. It was her father's wish that she should be loved and taken care of without working at all. He always told her that he lost her mother to competitors who plotted her death and he wouldn't want to lose another woman he loved so much.

She was delicate and her skin soft and smooth. Never had she been made to do any chores.

He had felt that she was better off married off and her step brother should take control of all the businesses. So he had arranged a marriage with the son of one of his friends.

Henry seemed to love her so much and was fond of her at first. After her father died Albert took hold of all the businesses.

She sighed and focused on Henry's company and after a year of hardwork with her exceptional skills she transformed the company from average to a Billionaire dollar company to the surprise of everyone causing Henry's love for her to increase.

In another year Henry made her the CEO of one of the branches of Damaco Companies and they had set up more business and branches becoming the second biggest company in Florida in two years!

"You don't need to go anywhere, Tessa." He said, looking at her .

"This is a joke, Henry?" Tessa said as she walked towards the door. He couldn't possibly be serious, she thought.

"Stop there, don't dare move at all." He shouted, causing her to stop in her tracks and look back. "You don't have to go anywhere. I'll make the calls and Elena will replace you." Tessa bit her lips as he walked towards her. "Gold digger. That's what you are." He smirked.

"You've refused to give me a child all these years because you are only after my money!" He said with gritted teeths.

She couldn't hold the outburst any longer. She was going to shout it in his face that she was pregnant for him. "I…I…" She began but he interrupted her.

"How many babies have you killed?" He asked, causing her to pause. Her eyebrows furrowed. "What are you talking about?"

"Don't act ignorant, I know about all you've been doing now." He frowned, firing her a fiery gaze.

"I found it, the birth control pills you've been taking. If that was not enough you once took an abortion pill, killing our baby! My baby!" He shouted leaving Tessa stunned.

She didn't understand what he was talking about. She had never taken any birth control pills or abortion pills. She wouldn't hurt a life not to talk of her own.

She didn't understand where these accusations were coming from. He stormed into their room and threw out used medicine packets. She gasped as she looked up at Elena wearing a smug look behind Henry.

"How could you be so cruel, Tessa." Elena said looking at Tessa with a disapproving expression but her lips curled into a smile.

It suddenly hit Tessa, two days ago she had invited Elena and two others for a girl's night indoor party and she had remembered Elena stepping out to the bathroom for a bit. She didn't think too much about it when she took a bit longer to return.

Elena had done it! She had set everything up, it was her plan all along. But she was carrying his child now. If she just said she was pregnant and proved it she wondered what Henry would do. But when she looked at Elena she changed her mind.

She wasn't going to have her baby here. She wasn't going to watch her baby grow under this environment and watch another woman plot evil against her little baby.

She suddenly realized how evil Elena is. If she could go to such an extent to get her husband what more could she not do.

"You're lucky to have me, Henry." Elena hugged Henry's back circling her hands around his waist.

"Yes I am. I'm happy I met you." He smiled. "Thanks to you I met my heart throb Tessa." He said coldly. His eyes were filled with hate and blinded with Elena's schemes.

"You should forgive her Henry, she probably didn't mean to do so. She was just after your money and wanted to do anything to have it, without making you happy." Elena said. Tessa never knew her best friend was this cunning like a fox.

"You're so kind Elena." Henry ruffled her hair. He turned to Tessa staring hard at Elena. "Apologize Tessa and I'll consider forgiving." you he said

"You'll regret this Henry. You'll realize late and when you do I'll be gone." Tessa bit her lips. "Where do you think you are going to go? " Henry asked.

"I need a divorce!" Tessa said in one breath and Henry raised his brows in surprise. He had not expected her to say this at all.

"You're joking right?" He asked. Elena looked surprised too but her expression turned from surprise to glee. She didn't know why Tessa wanted a divorce but it was still a win for her. She could as well have Henry all to herself.

Elena had been thinking of ways to make Henry kick her out. She knew that he still loved her a little bit even with her schemes. The sole reason that she got closer to Tessa after their college was so that she will get close to her Billionaire husband, Henry.

She had only met him a few times but was Jealous when she found out that Tessa was going to get married to her crush for many years. She hated Tessa for so long, she felt she was more pretty and was jealous of her wealth.

She wanted Tessa to be under her, how she was always envious that Tessa's father spoiled her with money and expensive things that she flaunted so casually. Now today Tessa was reduced to nothing in front of her and she beamed a smile.

The fiery look in Tessa's eyes pissed Elena off. Even in this situation she was still acting high and mighty. She wanted her to stay a little so she could trample her before kicking her out.

"You just have to apologize to Tessa. You were so mean and evil to do those things. Although you always act like a saint." She said to Tessa.

But Tessa had already made up her mind.

"I want a divorce! I'll call my lawyer and we will sort it out for you to sign, then we can go our separate ways." She said as she turned on her heels heading for the door but Henry was faster.

He grabbed her hands and pulled her towards him. "You're not getting any divorce!" He shouted. Elena was surprised, "Why does he not want a divorce?" She muttered.
