A shadow came to love me

Anna meets the shadow

Thinking back of all the things that happened to me I never doubted once who took me home when I fainted yesterday and how did Jenny's bag fell suddenly from the couch or who is breaking all the windows in this neighbourhood and the big problem is ,the writings on the front door is in the inward side of the door .How did this happen, then I started connecting all the dots one by one then I realized that this is the work of a hanging dust shadow ( the head of the pack) .so I decided to go to the ghost mount but before that I have to do a lot of experiments with the writings in the front door writing to know more about them. After a week later, the weather was cold and started snowing too, jenny and drake were sleeping in my house today so at midnight I packed my bag for the hike to mount ghost without letting drake know ,if he knows then he’ll never let me go in this snowy night so I slowly tip toed to the back door slowly....slowly....I opened the nob of the door, when I reached out my hand to take my bag, in the corner drake was standing near the bedroom door with two hands crossed, facing me in fierce. He started pushing me into my room to go to sleep but I pulled down him pants and it fell off( I didn't mean to but it just fell off) . Screaming ,he let’s my hands go and without even listening to him I came out ( I know he’s a good friend but some things should be done alone ) , going on a investigation hike on a snowy night was not a very good idea for drake but not listening to him I have to go into the deep forest, to find some clues on my case . The way is getting darker and blurry to my eyes because of the snow quickly I should find some place to hide till the heavy snow stops. " Hey, there is a hole in that huge tree”.(author) So Anna goes in and sees what is inside the vast looking "dead like " tree but she slips and falls into the giant dark pit hole. Anna felt the chillness raising through her body and felt like something was with her in the darkness. Anna could not see any moments but her mind was very diverted on how to survive this time.

So anna tries to find if there is any way to get out of this place so she takes a big branch that was beside her and starts to stomp in the tree’s core and pulling it hard but nothing works out then after a hour of trying to escape anna sits down being fully exhausted and out of breath .she thought it would have been better if drake was there but she has no clue where she is and she dropped her phone when drake pulled her so no phone in her hands so she starts screaming for help .After an hour , she tramples down on her knees but she tries to stand up but she couldn’t as she was out of breath . The suffocating inside was horrible than being in a coffin and whatever she touches its cold as ice so Anna's thought was drafting towards death . She fell down to the ground and with the only blanket she has ,covers herself up and trying think about happy thoughts when the coldness inside increases she faints as she rolled over to the corner. Anna suddenly felt something is coming near her but anna was too cold to think of the surrounding beside her . She felt a warm sensation behind her back like that was a large bear was hugging her from behind but Anna felt so warm that she slept with smiling .In the morning anna woke up suddenly with head spin and she got her mind straight trying to think but she feels so weak to think ,anna realizes that it’s morning now so she searches her surrounding if there is a rope or something to climb up .Suddenly she remembered the phrase, " the place where the darkness is , a small piece of light can show the way out" .Anna starts to look if there is a little ray of light coming from anywhere near .suddenly anna breaks something that makes the sound echo all over the high branches . She sees the tiny ray of light coming from the hole ,it seems the thing that got broke was blocking the light for this whole time. After seeing a ray of hope falling in she starts to make the hole bigger and bigger till she fits in it then with a huge relief anna takes in the air she needs ,with sweating blood and tears she was ready to go out then as quick as wind something passed her through ,astounded she stood like a wooden crow .Anna saw a black figure came out before she could come out of the dead tree .Anna froze for a moment and started running towards the direction of the black blurry creature. ( anna ) I don't have the strength but I have to know who saved me yesterday, this thing goes so fast . I stopped running after I lost sight of the creature, with pain my legs and hands started shaking when I was about to give up I heard drake's voice coming from beyond the bridge then after hearing his voice my heart starts beating normal again ,with all of my strength I ran to him ,drake hugged me. when he saw me with full of mud and big wounds all over my body he asked," why you are so cold like ice and covered with wounds with mud, this is why I told you not to go alone ,you never listen to me and you're making us worry too " .After hearing drake saying that i started crying and cried with all my heart and I hugged him more . Regretting leaving him and jenny worrying about me . When I reached my home ,I suddenly felt something painful in my hands so I took a look at it opening my sleeves ,it was full of worms coming out of my skin when I started taking them one by one ,drake came and asked me what happened. When I was about to show him my hands ,the worms were all gone then I realized it was an hallucination then it must be ... .( author)After she found out that a shadow was with her yesterday night , she fainted and fell into drake’s arms .Later that afternoon Anna woke up and saw that drake was beside her bed sleeping with a towel in his hands and anna thought it would be better if she turned to the other side so that she won’t wake him up . When she turned around ,with terror in her eyes seen hollow it goes, she saw a black cloud- like physique slowly it started to turn to her side, Anna could see that it had a face which was so pale and had great purple color dust that had a sparkling effect at the sides of the face .Anna could feel that is going to grab her wrist .( Anna) Is this the feel of being with a hanging-shadow would be like , I can see that it has a man’s face but with a warm gentle glare the rate of my heart started pounding by the look on the face, clearly I can see it’s a man with ancient- kind of look with his skin ,he started coming towards me with a grin on his face. I couldn’t move at all ,at the point where the both of them were beside me side by side in my bed. After the head rush I dozed again without knowingly but I felt really safe like I was taken back to when I was trapped inside the dead tree. I could feel that tenderness with this shadow’s touch but I don’t want drake to notice that ,it would be embarrassing. In the morning, I felt really fresh as I opened my eyes and drake left a note saying “I will be back by noon ,drake”. It’s not easy to sleep in between two men it felt really uncomfortable when I tried to sleep again ,my thoughts were how on earth did drake had the courage to sleep next to me ,”was it a accident” . Suddenly I remembered that it was not natural for me to these kind of things and it only happens in movies or dramas. But I really had a hard time figuring out why that shadow guy came without any reason to do danger. When I opened my mouth to brush my teeth ,I saw a hickey( I think) like pattern in side of my left mouth . I can see it become red from the inside but from the outside it was not really visible then I remembered yesterday night I hugged someone really tight but after that... ,” oh my God I don’t remember what happened !”. There was no sign of the man-shadow when I woke up, my head is spinning right now if I think about last night . Okay, I m going to pretend it never happened and I didn’t see anything, “ that would be better for me". I cleaned up my bedroom and went to my campus to see drake .I was very diverted with the whole working process but now I got some clues and of course now I know how it looks ,I have lot of files to see and freshen up my brain. When I was passing through the hall way ,I suddenly felt like someone was watching me from behind I couldn’t look behind because I don’t want to look suspicious so I was walking like nothing’s wrong after a while I could feel it’s coming closer and closer to me . I turned to the hall window glass to see what it was ,like a stone that splashed in water the sound came from outside near the second floor so I ran to see , I saw drake was standing outside by the door and I asked what happened. “ it seems we have been noticed by someone that has more power than we have known “, drake said and I looked inside the room there was full of black purple dust all over place in the room and there was big note written “DON’T MAKE ME ANGRY LITTLE BOY" . The feel like something wisps into my ears that was so sweet but horrifying for me ,drake was so pale at that moment because he knows that note is meant for him. After that all distress situation drake and I went to the system to see the books of old men ( it was the book that were written for the chosen ones – they are the people who are loved by the hanging-shadow) . In that they have the writings that hanging-shadow s pass through glass type objects ,it seems they can travel easy because of the mirrors or something that looks transparent suddenly I remembered that when I was trapped in that dead tree there was something there I broke, it was shining under my feet when I broke it ,if I think about it, that thing was there with me the whole night that day so the guy-shadow must have came through that glassy thing ,he found me because of that but it’s a good thing he was there with me otherwise I would be frozen to death. When I was in my thoughts suddenly a voice came from my back of the head saying “ you will be safe when I m with you dear “. I was so not liking this because it’s not a good thing for me if he can read my mind and I do not joy it . I grinned as drake turned to me and said “ whatever it is I’m going to keep you safe “.

We both walked to our classes without any thinking that is stressful . After our classes got over , I saw jenny coming with Ms.Kathy as usual but this time Ms. Kathy was smiling at Jenny’s eyebrows . Jenny saw me and came rushing to me and gave me a hug and Ms. Kathy’s smile faded . I had known jenny for so long she is always the type of person who hugs and give kisses to anyone she finds close to her so it’s not a big deal but the glare Ms.Kathy is giving me is like someone who is ready to kill so I gave jenny a little pat on the shoulder then Ms.Kathy gave a sign of relief . Jenny said she wanted to come with me while going home I was thinking what Ms.Kathy would think but she gave no sign of rejection so I said okay. I told Ms.Kathy that jenny talks about her all the time and how long I have known her and respected each other as friends .” we are friends as we know, not more or less”. After I said that Ms.Kathy gave a smile and went her way back to the hall . I was relieved that she didn’t kill me with that gun- shooting glare , jenny and I started walking to that Café we like ,we stopped at the gift shop to get present for a friend of Jenny’s, likely we got what we wanted so jenny was happy at the moment . With a few members in our club we started to decorate the Café's entrance with balloons and lollipops and with lots of flowers after a while we finished our decorations and the cake was ready, we all sat down for the Birthday girl to come ,few minutes later I got a call from drake so I took my phone and went to the kitchen to talk .” I won’t be coming to the party soon I’m busy with work here ,so I will be coming late", he said .when I finished talking to drake ,I saw some staffs were talking to each other about something ,they were mixing something to our drinks I felt really uneasy and waited for them to leave . After they gone out to join the party ,I slowly went sliding the side of the wall slowly…very slowly. I checked the drinks there was nothing out of ordinary but I didn’t want to risk anyone’s life so I pour out all the drinks that were in the tables and pour new set of fruit drinks with the same color that had before .Then I went to the party as the birthday party was starting as the birthday girl arrived, Jenny and I were so tried because of all the work we had to do so we sat down while others were dancing then I said about all that happened in the kitchen ,jenny was so out of words but I said,” don’t worry I changed the drinks “. Somehow we felt uneasy with the staffs they were looking so darkened under their eyes and standing so stiff but we didn’t want to spoil any fun of the party so we were trying to be normal. We sang the birthday song and where ready for our drinks when the drinks came to our tables I took the first glass and drank the first Cup and checked the taste and how I was feeling then after a while I said ,”let’s all drink it’s alright “everyone was very confused when I said that but I know what it meant and the Staffs were stunned because they know that I know . Jenny and I were so relieved that everyone had fun today . when I was about to get up I saw Drake coming through the door with the sign of relief I lifted my head up suddenly I saw the hanging shadow was right above me staring at me with those red eyes with the sudden rush I put my head down and I dragged Drake and let him sit beside me I told Drake that the shadow is here “don’t look but is right above me”. Drake said he will check the camera and take evidence So he got up and went . Suddenly I felt a little tingle feeling in my spine I could feel the chillness behind me start to rise suddenly I could feel something grabbing my waist And slowly I could feel someone coming near my ear and with the sudden movement it bit me, with the screaming pain I got up from my chair. Everyone was looking at me and Jenny came running to me saying, “what happened to you ,are you alright, did something happen to you because of the drink” and I said,” nothings wrong I’m fine just that something bit me that’s all”. And I sat down again and I was telling in my thoughts that it was stupid thing to do in front of my friends and I said not to do like that again and the shadow replied and said, “ you don’t want me to do in front of your friends but I can do it when you are alone ,can I? ,if you don't want me to do like that again don't sit with that little kid anymore and I replied ,”I can’t do that because is my friend and that's none of your business if you don't mind asking, who are you and why are you always setting up rules for me and trying to do something hilarious and it is not likeable” ,there was no reply after that . And after awhile I saw Drake coming, when Drake was about to sit on the chair , the chair moved away drake fell down with a painful eyes and I rushed to lift him up “Don’t ever do like that again if you ever touch him I will kill you he is my only best friend And my childhood friend so stop messing”. Then I set up drake's chair to let him sit and asked sorry to him In a low tone. Drake said that he took the video of the shadow hanging about my head trying to reach me down and it was trying to touch my hair. At that moment I thought why is this happening to me I am just trying to solve a case this is a big mistake after all but I just love solving this case but I can’t put it down because of this one problem I have to save so many lives and families are waiting for me to solve this case. As I was thinking the shadow heard me and said ,”I will help you to solve this case I am not like the others I just want to be with you and protect you that’s all and I just want you to be mine alone, my name is William and I am from the West Norway region and our Story has begun before 10 years you just don't remember it”. I started to think about the first case I ever got but I don’t remember the details but it didn’t end well I got a big scar behind my right ear . William replied said he would help me if I let him inside me . I stopped him right there and said ,”what is wrong with you I am a detective who fines the case and solves them and you are one of the criminals in that case it's not fair that knowing you for one hour You ask me this kind of permission and it’s not allowed by me but you already entered my mind so don’t ask this question again because it’s silly”. William started to laugh and I could feel a tingle ticklish feeling right behind my neck a whispering started to hear saying,” You are so sweet I love to taste you and bite you” and somehow I felt little scared when I heard that Suddenly I could feel someone was kissing my back neck I felt like I was about start laughing so hard but I was trying to hold it in and telling him to stop ,drake was looking at me so worried and asking me if I m alright or not but I didn’t say anything I just nodded with a little bit of pride left in me I don’t wanna spoil that but I couldn’t hold on much longer so I left to the bathroom .I laughed so hard that my throat was paining and my stomach was starting to feel weak inside. When I finished my laughing I got really angry and starting yelling inside my mind ,” what is the matter with, you leave me alone it’s really not funny to choke someone to death by laughing and you are humiliating me in front of my friends “ .After that there was no sign of him and I went to the party and soon we finished cleaning up ,jenny and drake were waiting for to finish the dishes and then we went to my home and slept as soon as we got there ,I was really heavy tried so I slept on the couch after a while I got up to get a glass of water and saw outside my window it was snowing again . I love the snow how its so beautiful even when no-one is watching. Suddenly I heard some noise from upstairs and it was coming from my room when I got in there was noone but a book was fallen from the top shelf so I took it and kept it under my pillow and when I turned around I saw him ,with the same gentle eyes and pale skin ,he was floating above my door .He came closer and closer to me and I fell in my bed suddenly a thought Struck me “ I m still angry for what you did and you didn’t even explain why don’t ever think about coming near me “.William smiled and said “ you saw the whole me but I didn’t “.
