Chapter- 25

25. "Hide and Seek!"

Roshini took a salwar from her wardrobe and thought whether she will look good in this for a minute but in her imagination, it is not up to her expectations so she tossed that away and took another yellow one.

Perfectly wearing that she applied a light makeup taking measures that it should not deliberately show that she is applied makeup. A natural look!

She is not like this before, caring about her looks for someone but now this love has turned her into something different. She is feeling new about herself. She is doing the thing which she never did before.

Giggling, daydreaming, blushing, smiling a lot without a reason and main importantly thinking about Siddharth all the time. In every moment his thought was popping in her mind. 

Even while studying Siddharth was dancing on her head and distracting her effortlessly.

She took the sling bag that Nidhi bought for her and headed out telling bye to her mom. She is sad to know the fact about her Aunt returning after two weeks. But what to do it all happens that is what she felt and decided to utilize these impending weeks to know about Siddharth and his feelings for her since he is never failing to give her hopes.

Siddharth what is he really? In her life, Roshini never saw someone to be this nice and good. In these past days, she came to know a lot of things about him in that there few things are really surprised her. That he is having a pilot license, he is a state-level swimming champion, personally, Lakshmi revealed that he is too workaholic and a very punctual person and many more.

The more she knew about him Roshini thought, whether I am wishing something big for me?

He is someone who she can only admire. He is not equal to her in anything. The feelings she developed are going to end up in heartbreak and she knew that for sure but still Roshini can't control herself than falling blindly in love with him.

So for better or worse, Roshini made up her mind that never try to throw away this love and also doesn't fall totally in love. Leave it on the flow maybe that is great at this moment than being confused and hurt. It may sound simple yet it is one of the toughest things in her life because nowadays her heart is not responding to her orders and acting totally 

weird.

When Roshini entered Siddharth house the time is about 5.30 pm in the evening. Shiva and Lakshmi have perfectly scored in their exams that made Meera and Vikranth develop a good attitude on her.

Yesterday Roshini got her third-semester results, as usual, she got the first mark and Siddharth happily congratulated her knowing that. Roshini too congratulated him for getting the same. They have turned into a power couple in their department. All eyes were only on them when they are conversing anywhere in the department. Slowly their relationship was spread to other departments.

She secretly likes this attention but inside there is a sadness to realize all these things were just an act. Just a year it is going to end, that realization again knocked her to the same state she in before agreeing to this commitment.

The house was empty and Mrs. Vikranth was not there to welcome her. Roshini slowly walked up, she noticed Siddharth bike was not there in the parking that means he is not here, concluding that Roshini simply sat on the study room.

After ten minutes, she heard Shiva and Lakshmi's voices approaching.  Roshini immediately composed her hoping that Siddharth will be there too. 

When they entered they gave a big 'hi' and Roshini replied looking out, she can't help than wanting to know where Siddharth is?

Roshini continued the tutoring imaging that Siddharth will come at any moment! And how she had to talk him. There should be a distance and also it should be like as usual...

Oh god, what type of life is this, she thought and mentally screamed.

Today the tutoring ended before an hour itself since there no much work was given to them.

Roshini decided to leave in a deceit but then suddenly Siddharth entered with a pile of books and incapacitated her totally with his charming smile, whether it is only her who noticed that his eyes smile too whenever he smiled.

"Are you leaving?" Roshini nodded her head as yes.

"This early?" Siddharth again asked without having a mindset to leave her now.

"Don't go now and here the books you asked," he added and moved to sit on the chair.

Roshini sat beside him watching Siddharth, he was looking into the books and finally raised his gaze to her.

"Thankfully Ram had all these books, here take this. I went to buy this old book of me from Ram for you," Siddharth said. Two days before she asked these books to Siddharth because she knew that he is having every costly reference book with him.

"For me?" she asked unbelievably since she never thought he will provide it quickly.

"Yeah, take this." he smiled and Roshini heart raced. 

Why you are this nice, if you kept doing it then I don't know you will permanently remain in my heart Siddharth! she mind voiced and slowly took the books.

Then there is an awkward silence, Siddharth was thinking about a reason to make her stay here.

"Where is your mom," Roshini asked.

"She went to visit my grandma," Siddharth told.

"Akka, there is still a lot of time, why don't we play a game." Lakshmi gave that idea thankfully.

"Yeah," Siddharth yessed in little loud voice.

"But..." she doesn't know what to reason.

"Please," Lakshmi grinned and Roshini agreed half-heartedly.

Siddharth smirked victoriously and stood up. "Let's play hide and seek, it is been since we played that game," Shiva suggested.

"Hmm okay," the siblings agreed and Roshini awkwardly nodded her head.

Shiva agreed to become the seeker and went downstairs to count 100. Roshini looked Siddharth and before he could give an idea Lakshmi pulled her to Shiva room.

Roshini stood behind the door and Lakshmi in his closet. It is kind of weird for Roshini to play this game in someone house.

Suddenly Shiva came into the room and found Lakshmi even though he first saw Roshini hiding behind the door. He is having a soft corner towards Roshini because she motivated him with her encouraging words and he likes that quality in her, to say a truth he was little attracted to her.

Now the seeker Lakshmi went down to count hundred. This time Siddharth was clear to drag Roshini with him.

"Roshini come with me," Siddharth told and Roshini left with him leaving Shiva. So Sad.

Siddharth dragged Roshini to the unexplored corridor. She didn't know where he is taking her. He pushed into a door and it was little dark in the dim yellow light.

It must be Siddharth parent’s room because it was very big and fully furnished with expensive interiors. Roshini noticed there was a family picture hanging big at the side.

This much only she observed then Siddharth entered the dark room inside. Roshini stood frozen, she can't go in with him in this dark but having with no other options she agreed.

"Switch on the lights," Roshini whispered.

"We will get caught, come inside," he pulled her hand.

They went in and Roshini understood it must be a walk in closet. They both went behind the door and Siddharth pushed it to remain like how it was before.

A few seconds later they slowly realized their closeness. Roshini was just an inch away from him, his breath fanning over her face, neck and his Axe perfume filled her nostrils, it gave goosebumps to her. 

God, why you are always ending up me with such situations, she cried and remained silent before him.

Siddharth turned his gaze down to Roshini, he had that killer smirk while Noticing her awkward expression, her twitching fingers and to smell her fragrance.

He gazed her collarbone and slowly to her breast. Oh s**t! He cursed mentally and averted his gaze to the other side. He felt hot for the first time and he is having an increasing urge to touch her.

"Why you selected this place?" she asked and looked up to meet his eyes which is already staring straight at her.

It is embarrassing, really! She thought and her heart started to sound like it is loudly echoing in her.

"Lakshmi is afraid of the dark, she won't come here," he whispered and raised his hand to hold hers.

Suddenly a footstep halted their increasing urges, Lakshmi entered the room and like Siddharth said she didn't come into the closet and left the place.

"Is she gone," Roshini asked and lightly moved away.

"Wait, don't go she may wait for you outside," he told.

Hearing that Roshini awkwardly stood in front of Siddharth.

"Are you really having a crush on me," Roshini asked this question that is been bothering her. It is not something that she usually hears and that too from Siddharth was something unexpected. How long she will remain like it is nothing.

And Siddharth waited for this question so that he can explain his feelings.

"Yes, I am having an irresistible crush on you," he told looking at her confidently.

"Why?". Roshini gulped the word and looked down.

"I don't know!" he replied simply though he wanted to tell so many things to her.

"Do you have any... crush on me?" Siddharth words took her back.

Not a crush I am crazily in love with you, Roshini wanted to confess these words but as usual, declined the question. He felt little rejected but he clearly knew that Roshini is having the same kind of feeling like he has on her and just pretending.

"For how long you are having a crush on me?" Roshini was not in the state to leave him after this much they came.

"I don't know really, but for a long time," his words turned on her butterfly mode. She blushed and bite her lower lip to control her smile.

That time, Lakshmi and Shiva entered the room switched on the lights. Like nothing happened they went out.

The rest of the evening went this way. And after the clock strikes 7.30 Roshini decided to leave.

This time Siddharth offered her a free lift since she can't carry the books alone.

Roshini agreed and fallen in love again and again for his each and every action. It felt so hard for Roshini to hide her love. 

When am I going to tell you? She asked herself when he left her.

Siddharth felt so relieved after telling his feelings to Roshini, but he told a great lie in this.

He is having a crush on Roshini for two years from the moment he saw her on Kodaikanal that is before he met her at college.
