Just Beside The Bustling Street

“You are joking, right?” Sael Anselmo couldn't help but ask. He stared at Dugo as his lips involuntarily formed a bitter smile. “Of course, I'm just joking. Why are you so serious?” Dugo Zugath replied casually as he stood up from his seat and continued, “We'll play along with them first. If those spirits make anything funny, then we'll leave everything to fate.” “Huh? Just leave everything to fate? No other plans?” Sael Anselmo replied as he was taken aback. “Yes, let's leave everything to fate.” Dugo Zugath replied. Since they couldn't do anything anyway, they should just leave it to fate. What will happen, will happen anyway. So after speaking such words, Dugo Zugath ignored him as he went towards the kitchen nearby. He saw Elissa Ashton doing chores as he asked as soon as he arrived, “Big sister, can I get some water.” “Oh, sorry. I forgot to bring you a glass of water.” Elissa smiled embarrassingly as she continued what she currently doing and added, “Please help yourself.” Dugo Zugath nodded with a smile as he picked the glass beside the jug and got a glass of water. After he drank two glasses of water, he put down the glass and said, “Thank you.” “You're welcome,” Elissa replied with a sweet smile. “By the way, big sister, we are leaving now.” Dugo Zugath informed the other party. “Oh? That soon? Isn't your body still a bit weak?” Elissa suddenly asked. “I'm fine now. The meal you cooked was so good and it energized my body.” Dugo Zugath smiled. “Haha, you are flattering me.” Elissa chuckled softly as she continued, “Anyway, I won't stop the both of you. I'm just here to tell you that I will always be waiting for you so please take care of yourselves.” Since venturing the world was the fate of every awakener, Elissa didn't stop them from going to Purple Mist Forest. And if she only had the energy to use, she would have been venturing the world now as well. Because only through dangers and life experiences would they truly get stronger and gain the strength to protect themselves. “Don't worry aunty, we will surely come back.” But instead of Dugo Zugath, who replied this time was Sael Anselmo who was coming towards them. Dugo Zugath shifted his gaze at him as he saw him walking past him to get a glass of water. “Oh? Since you've already eaten, you have gained the courage to call me aunty huh,” Suddenly, a cold voice sounded in the room. And before Sael Anselmo could even react, something flew towards his head. Sapak! Since the jug was just beside the sink where Elissa was washing the dishes, Elissa was naturally close to Sael. And it didn't need much effort for her to come close to him. That said, she as if appeared beside Sael as she gave him a fierce punch on his head. Sael Anselmo who was still drinking water was caught off guard as he received the punch with as if open arms. His head bowed down forcefully as the water he was drinking spurted out from his mouth. Not realizing what was going on, he immediately shifted his fierce gaze at Elissa and asked furiously, “Just what was that for?” “Oh? So you don't know?” Elissa let out an evil smile. Her eyes turned red as if a vicious monster that was about to eat the other party. “I-I... Big sister, please forgive me!” Only then did Sael Anselmo realize his wrongdoing as he cried out and kneeled. If this was the other people who punched him so sneakily, he would have killed them already. But since it was his big sister, he naturally was helpless as he could only beg for mercy. Dugo Zugath sighed as he couldn't be bothered by these two. He then turned around and walked away with a slight smile. He went directly to the door and held the doorknob intending to leave. “Purple Mist Forest, Portia, I'm coming...” Dugo Zugath thought as his eyes emitted a hint of excitement. After which, he pulled open the door and his smile seemed to go brighter. However, as soon as he opened it, his smile suddenly froze. “What the hell...” Words of astonishment escaped from Dugo Zugath's mouth. Just as he opened the door, noise had immediately filled the entire room. Just how could this be possible? When Dugo Zugath opened the door, a large street bustling with people had immediately obstructed his view. It was a busy day where people had their own business. Some people made a stand at the side of the street, selling their things. Some were shouting to their loudest asking for other members who would like to join their little group probably for adventure or hunting purposes. Some kids were playing and running while other people were just passing by. Some were walking and some were taking a carriage or riding a beast. Dugo Zugath who was taken by surprise stepped out of the house to see more. And in his right and left direction, as well as to the other side of the street, many structures of different sizes were lining up. They were made of woods or stones and were probably different shops or houses of someone else. Some of the structures were only first floor while others had even reached the fourth floor. He could tell that this village was surely much better compared to the other town. Stuffing his eyes with astonishment, Dugo Zugath then turned around. But as soon as he did so, he saw Sael Anselmo coming towards him with a smile. “What's going on here? Where are we? And what kind of things your house is made of? How could I not hear any noise when I am inside and when the door is closed?” Dugo Zugath asked. He still couldn't believe that the house that he'd just stayed in was actually just beside a bustling street. “It's only a soundproof formation, you don't have to worry about it.” Sael Anselmo replied casually. “Only a formation?” Dugo Zugath was taken by surprise when he learned that the small wooden house in front of him actually had a formation. But he got pissed when the other party took the matter so lightly. “Do you know how much a formation would cost? How can you say it as ‘only’?” Sael Anselmo could only smile bitterly as he didn't expect Dugo to react so much just because of this. If he learned about the origin of their big sister Elissa Ashton, then how shocked would he become?
