Curse

“Curse you all Primordial Beings!” A man on his knees who had his upper body remained upright bellowed furiously. His clothes were all torn, his body was full of wounds and blood. It was apparent that he had lost all of his strength as the most thing he could do at that moment was to bare his fang and curse with all his heart. Surrounding the man was several humanoid creatures that were emitting an unfathomable aura. There were also a few huge bestial creatures that had the same unfathomable aura. In their presence, anyone might be instantly killed even if they didn't do anything. But the man who was obviously beaten up could still live and was even gnawing. It was evident that this man was no ordinary individual. “How could you do this to me?! I swear to God that I will surely take my revenge someday!” The man bellowed again. His eyes were full of wrath and resentment. He still couldn't accept why would these Primordial Beings join forces just to take his confidant down with him. What was even worse was he believed that this was not something that the Supreme God had commanded. These dogs were just afraid that he might surpass them completely as they decided to lower themselves and resort to such an action. “Know your place, human. You are not allowed to wield our Origin Energy anymore as it was exclusive to us, Primordial Beings. It was the gift of God to us, not to a mere human like you.” An arrogant voice that came from one of the creatures surrounding the man sounded. An aura of s*******r was even enveloping its body as it spoke. It was a humanoid creature carrying a huge war ax in its right hand. “I'm sorry brother but believe me, this is the will of God.” A much calmer and pleasing voice sounded. That Being was also a humanoid creature but had a body as bright as the sun. It released an aura that could eliminate all darkness. “Liar. The Supreme God wasn't interfering in our affairs and had hidden himself from us. Other than the lowly humans, we all knew that we cannot communicate with him. How could you say that this is the will of God?!” The man replied in a voice full of resentment as he continued with a much hostile tone, “I have thought you as a friend and you would betray me? Brother my ass! I will surely take you down someday!” “You won't have a chance anymore. Oh, Great One.” Another voice that was full of pride and belittlement responded. “If you were not planning to do something forbidden, we wouldn't have interfered with you. However, you followed the step of the Archdemon. You went to the Sinland and met with the Renegades. This is a sin that cannot be forgiven so easily.” A cold voice sounded. “I thought you are a man full of wisdom. How could you intend to make a wrong move? You are not worthy to wield our Origin Energy anymore.” Another voice sounded that was full of sighs and regret. “From now on, as we have taken away your Origin Energy, you will be called the Lost One.” Someone sneered. “You are bound to roam the world aimlessly. Never to find any direction.” Another creature added with a tone of voice saying, “You deserve it!” “And you will never die.” Someone went on with the same tone of voice. “But you will never be able to wield any energy anymore. And your kin will suffer the same fate. Although unlike you, they will die, but like you, they will never be able to wield any energy at all.” Another creature continued. “One-by-one, you will watch them dying helplessly as you won't be able to do anything other than to feel the pain.” A nonchalant voice continued. “They will be banished from the Great Land you built. They will be called an Exile and be hunted by your enemies and those who are envious to you.” Another nonchalant voice sounded. “And your Great Land will be erased in the face of the world, never to come into the light again.” Someone added again. The creatures, that appeared to be the Primordial Beings, had one-by-one cursed the man. Although not everyone of them had spoken, it could be said that they all had the same wills as they talked it out beforehand. It was as if the man was the most dangerous creature in the world as they didn't want to let him go from his sin. “No! You can't do this to me!” The man bellowed again. He desperately struggled to his feet as he didn't want to accept what the other party was trying to do to him. However, the world before him suddenly turned dark. Thunders kept roaring as the ground shook violently and made many long cracks. Not long after, a cloud of darkness appeared before the man as it formed into a spherical shape surrounding him. It rotated rapidly as it came nearer and nearer to his body. The man ground his teeth as he watched the darkness approaching him. His hands were clenched into fists as blood even dripped out from it. “Curse you all! I will remember this! I will surely avenge myself and my kin!” But the man didn't receive any response as finally, the darkness swallowed his body. “Aaaaahhhhhhh!” The man roared furiously probably because of extreme pain and wrath. But he was helpless to do anything other than to roar in his loudest. *** Gasp! Gasp! Gasp! Dugo Zugath suddenly opened his eyes as he was having shortness of breath. Beads of cold sweats were drenching his pale face and body as the first to greet him was a wooden ceiling. “Just what the hell was that? A nightmare?” Dugo Zugath didn't put in mind where he was now as he was taken over by the dreams he'd just seen. It felt so real as if it was something that happened to him in the past. But how could that be possible? First of all, he was just a kid. The man in his dreams, that appeared to be an incredibly strong individual, couldn't be him. Unlike that man, he had no energy to brag about. Wait. No energy? Dugo Zugath suddenly thought something as he recalled about the curse that the man had suffered. That man's energy was taken away from him as well as his kin's. Could it be that he was actually... “Am I one of the descendants of that man?” Dugo Zugath thought in a serious expression. But a moment later, he couldn't help but snort as a mocking smile formed on his lips. “I must still be dreaming.” After saying such words, Dugo Zugath ignored his dreams as he got up. Only then did he take notice of his surroundings. He swept his gaze around as he found himself in a wooden small room. It was a place unknown to him. “Where am I?” Dugo Zugath spoke in a low voice. He wanted to stand up from his bed but he suddenly felt his head aching a bit, preventing him from doing so. Even then, the pain didn't hinder him for so long as it vanished a few moments later. As such, he managed to stand up from the bed as he stretched his body and cracked his bones. “Right! The Portia!” Just as he was having a good time stretching his back, he suddenly recalled something that cause him to panic. Just what happened to his journey?
