Inviting To Come

1095 Words
Seeing the other party, Dugo smiled again as he finally let go of her hand. He was happy that this girl had become his companion. He didn't know till when or how long would their relationship stay but he wished to be with her friend for as long as he lived. “By the way, what's your plan for now?” Dugo Zugath suddenly thought of something as he asked. “Nothing. Maybe I will follow you for some time?” Samantha responded. The tears in her eyes had finally stopped falling as she finally smiled again. But this time, her smile wasn't as mischievous as before and was only containing warmth and gratitude. “Oh? Why don't you come to us? We are going to find the Portia.” Dugo responded with a smile. If this girl came with them, then things might go better. “Find the Portia?” Samantha was taken aback hearing such an answer. Although many people were looking for it, all of them had failed. She never thought that this boy would also want to fail. So after taking a moment of pause to think about it, Samantha went on, “If you needed some item to heal someone, I have some items here. Some of them can cure even the worst illness and some can regrow missing limbs.” Samantha naturally knew that the reason why people were going crazy just to find the Portia was to heal someone they dear. Of course, some of them only wanted richness since they might get a hefty sum once they sold the Portia flower. However, knowing a bit about Dugo's character, she could tell that he was looking for the legendary flower for someone. He might probably want to heal someone and Portia was the only way he could think of. But since she was here, there was no need for it to go so far as to find the Portia. Although the healing items she had couldn't be compared to the Portia, it was more than enough if Dugo was only going to cure some kind of illness or heal some heavy injuries. “That...” Dugo Zugath on the other hand suddenly became agitated when he heard Samantha. Just how rich was she to get those kinds of items? Putting that aside, if he asked the other party for those healing items, then there might really be a chance for his little sister to finally walk with her two feet. Dugo Zugath naturally didn't forget about his little sister. And he remembered her even more when Samantha showed her in the illusion she cast at him. His longing to be with her had also increased though that was why he also felt sadness in his heart. “Don't hesitate, we are friends, right?” Seeing the reluctance on Dugo's expression, Samantha suddenly spoke with a smile. After a moment of pause, she waved her hand and a flower with seven petals that had different colors appeared in her hand. She then smiled at Dugo again as she added, “Here take this. This thing can regrow limbs once you eat its red petal. But you must be careful because its other petals have different effects. If it was eaten wrongly, you may suffer instead.” “S-s-seven-Colored Flower...” Dugo Zugath muttered as his heart hastened a beat seeing the flower that Samantha had retrieved. He naturally recognized that flower. After all, its potency was well known to the world. Although not many people had seen it, almost all the people who were venturing the world had heard about it. And they were all eager to have that kind of flower. Although it wasn't as rare as the Portia that only appeared once in hundred years, this Seven-Colored Flower was still rare. But this girl had this kind of flower? Dugo Zugath was starting to think about what kind of background she really had. Although she had peeked through her memories, what he had seen was only a small piece of it. If he wanted to see all her memories, then he felt that he needed much effort. “I'm really thankful to you. I will definitely pay you back someday.” Dugo Zugath suddenly said. He stared at Samantha's eyes confidently. Samantha only smiled as she nodded. Knowing his character, even if she said that she didn't need him to repay him, he would only refuse and keep insisting on paying it back in the future. As such, she could only nod in agreement although it wasn't a big deal to her. She then stretched her hand forward as she wanted to hand over the Seven-Colored flower. But Dugo only smiled bitterly as he responded, “But I don't have a spatial ring so I will need you to hold it for now.” “Oh? Then I will keep it for now then.” Samantha replied with a smile. Since she didn't have any spare spatial ring, she could only agree with him. Even so, buying one later wouldn't be too difficult. “Right!” Dugo Zugath seemed to remember something as he suddenly said. After a moment, he continued, “Even though you provided me the Seven-Colored flower, we are still going to find the Portia. So, will you come with us?” Recalling that he still hadn't gotten an answer to his earlier question, Dugo Zugath asked Samantha again. Of course, he knew that Samantha gave him the Seven-Colored flower because she thought that they were looking for Portia to heal someone. However, that wasn't entirely the reason. Because they were looking for it to cure a Forsaken One. Although in the first place, he was looking for it to heal his little sister, when he found that he was a Forsaken One, he now wished to use the Portia to cure himself. But when he learned that he had this strange black energy, he dismissed the idea of using the Portia. After all, it would only be a waste. So when he met with a fellow Forsaken One, the one who he was indebted with, he now wanted to use the Portia to cure her. Dugo Zugath was only thinking to find another way to cure his little sister. But now that he had the Seven-Colored Flower, he didn't need to trouble himself looking for the cure anymore. He was more than sure that this Seven-Colored Flower could cure the disability of his little sister as she could finally walk with her feet.
