New Type Of Energy?

1153 Words
“Black energy...” Dugo Zugath couldn't be bothered by the two noisy people before him as he mumbled in a low voice. He raised his hand in front of him wondering what kind of energy was that. There were five kinds of energy, each of them had different colors when it formed and leaked out from the body. Physical Energy had a red color, silver for Weapon Energy, orange for Mental Energy, green for Spiritual Energy, and lastly Elemental Energy, it had a blue color. When an Awakener released their energy, an aura with a respective color for its kind of energy would appear on the Awakener's body. That was something that wasn't a secret to the world. But this kid before him said that he had black energy? Just what kind of energy was that? Was there was such an energy in the world? Or was this kid only trying to make fun of him as he was good at feigning emotions? Dugo Zugath suddenly shifted his gaze at the kid. His eyes narrowed slightly trying to peer through him. The kid on the other hand felt that someone was watching him in a creepy way as he involuntarily shifted his gaze at Dugo as he couldn't help but be taken aback. He swallowed a mouthful of saliva thinking why was the other party staring at him like that. But after a moment, he hurriedly retracted his gaze not daring to look him into the eyes anymore. His sweats were appearing, his thoughts were scary. It couldn't be that this guy had fallen for him, right? Oh God, please no. It must be no! “Not to mention I'm just a Forsaken One, what you've just said is really not credible. Tell me, what is it that you will gain by lying to me?” Dugo Zugath spoke coldly as he stared at the other party with the same coldness. Of course, he could tell that the other party wasn't lying by his reactions, but there's no harm as well in voicing out his doubts. In any case, if not for the other party likely telling the truth, that he had black energy that he was so curious about, Dugo Zugath wouldn't even bother revealing that he was a Forsaken One. And also, he just had noticed but he felt that something was new to him. He felt that something was hidden within him, waiting to be revealed. It was as if there was a seemingly bottomless pit in him as, from the very bottom, something full of energy was lurking. But he had no way of reaching it. Just what the hell was that? And what in the world happened to him? Was this something that a Forsaken One should feel? “You're a Forsaken One?” The kid was taken aback when he heard Dugo as he subconsciously stared at him and asked in disbelief. Even the woman who was stuffing the rice soup stopped eating as he stared at Dugo with interest. Dugo Zugath didn't answer as he nodded with his sharp eyes. His eyes were as if telling that even if he had no energy to use, he could still kill him so, be careful. “That's not possible.” The kid responded as he shook his head in disbelief. This guy was a Forsaken One? How could that be possible with the thing he had done to him? He was more than sure that the other party had saved him from the death's door and now, he would find out something like this? This was really couldn't be true. So not daring to believe Dugo, the kid continued, showing his disagreement, “There must be something wrong here. Are you sure you have already attended the awakening ceremony and tested your energy?” “Of course,” Dugo Zugath answered as he didn't explain anything else. “That's strange...” The kid muttered as he was thinking about the situation. He couldn't understand as well what was going on. But after thinking of many possible reasons, the kid nodded as he muttered, “That should be the case.” “Did you find anything?” Hearing the other party muttering something, Dugo Zugath couldn't help but ask. “Yes,” The kid nodded one time as he continued in a serious tone, “The Magic Crystal probably can't recognize your energy. After all, even to me, that black energy is unheard of. I even doubt that anyone in the kingdom knew about it. So I thought, your energy is a new type of energy and a powerful one at that.” “...” Dugo Zugath was also exceedingly serious hearing the other party. The other party's theory was reasonable. After all, that black energy he was talking about was really, really... “Pfft... Excuse me,” However, just as the atmosphere was going south, a soft voice sounded. The woman chimed in as she stood up from her seat and continued, “I think you really are hungry now. Wait here, let me get you some food.” Kids nowadays were surely imaginative. Hearing the two talking very seriously, the woman could only laugh softly. What new kind of energy? In the entire history of the world, there was no such thing. And these kids actually... The woman couldn't stand it anymore as she went to get a bowl of rice soup for her little brother. She really thought that he was really hungry. “Why are you laughing? Do you think I am joking? He really has a new type of energy. Why can't you believe me?” The kid was annoyed as he shouted with veins popping out. This was what he hated the most. Someone who didn't take seriously what he was saying. “Right, right, here's your soup.” The woman replied with a sweet smile as she brought a bowl of rice soup to the kid who was about to explode when she came back. She found it funny that her little brother would act that way. “Finally, some food!” The kid didn't continue to argue with his big sister as he took a spoon of rice soup right away. His eyes brightened up as he expressed, “So good!” The woman smiled seeing him. Although he was not actually her brother in blood, she thought of him as the same. And taking care of him was her job. Looking at his satisfied expression for a moment, the woman retracted her gaze as she continued to dig in. Dugo Zugath on the other hand had eyes thinking so deep. He was thinking about what did the kid had just stated. New kind of energy? Although it sounds so crazy if you believe in it, at that moment, Dugo Zugath felt that it was likely to be true.
