Western Market

In another place... Dugo Zugath and Sael Anselmo finally arrived at their destination after several minutes of walk. Though they passed by many people along the way, Dugo Zugath was still a bit surprised when they reached their destination. “So this is the western market? So many people...” Dugo Zugath remarked. Though he had an impassive expression, his eyes were gleaming in a hint of surprise. Ahead of him was a large open area where people gathered like ants. They were all doing their own things probably for business purposes. There was no lack of people who trade in there. There were also many stands for gambling. Some small houses and tents had people coming in and out from time to time. Others were angry while others had a satisfied smile. One could immediately tell that this was a busy day. And from the looks of it, this happened usually in the daily life of the people living in the village or for the people who traveled here from different places. “Let's go,” Sael Anselmo said as he walked unhurriedly with a slight smile on his lips. He wanted to see if they would be lucky this time to encounter unrecognized and undervalued items. Dugo Zugath nodded as he then followed suit and blended in the crowds. They looked around for some time trying to find some interesting things. They encountered many items sold on the stall like herbs, weapons, armors, clothing, pills, antiques, and many other treasures. Some were rare and looked expensive, some looked old and unrecognized, but some were commonly seen. However, nothing caught their eyes. No, to put it more correctly, they didn't find anything, especially Sael, that would be of their benefit. “Looks like we are unlucky this time. All the items here are a bunch of trashes.” Sael complained in a low voice. Dugo Zugath looked at him with a smile as he responded with a question, “You can tell if an item is good or not?” “Of course,” Sael Anselmo replied. After a moment of pause, he shook his head with a bitter smile as he continued, “Not to brag, but that is my innate ability. I can tell the value of something just by looking at it. Anyway, there are many good items here, but their price is just too much.” “Oh? That's interesting.” Dugo Zugath was a bit surprised as he thought that this guy appeared to have special senses just like him. But after a moment, he responded with a smile containing a hint of derision, “But I thought you have plenty of money in you after you robbed them?” “I already said that I didn't rob them!” Sael Anselmo growled as he continued, pointing his finger at a five-story building from a distance, “Let's go there. I will sell all the trashes I have in me. I hope it makes some money.” After saying such words, Sael didn't wait for Dugo's response as he walked in the direction of that five-story building. Dugo Zugath only smiled slightly as he didn't tease him anymore. After which, he followed Sael closely behind. “By the way, what kind of place is that?” Dugo Zugath suddenly asked while they were closing to their destination. Although he had a rough idea about it, he wanted certainties. “Nothing much. It's just one of the biggest and popular stores here.” Sael replied lazily. It was as if such a place wasn't worth mentioning. “Oh?” Dugo Zugath nodded. Since they would sell things, he definitely knew that it was a store. But he didn't expect it to be one of the biggest and popular. Why would this guy choose this? Isn't he attracting too much attention? And besides, were they even allowed to enter? Dugo Zugath didn't ask anything even though he had many questions in mind. He wanted to see what would the other party going to do. And just like that, it didn't take long for them to reach their distance in front of the building they were heading into. They stopped by the front as they raised their head slightly upward, staring at the structure. “How should we enter? Those two men are probably guarding the entrance. Will they let us in?” Dugo Zugath suddenly asked. He didn't look at Sael but instead, his gaze descended at the two brawny men clad in black robes. “Tsk! Tsk! Another bunch of bumpkins. Why are you even standing here? Hurry up and scram!” However, instead of Sael's response, an unpleasant and arrogant tiny voice sounded. Two men and a young boy in extravagant clothing came walking in their direction. No, to put it more correctly, these people seemed to intend to go the store in front of them but since Dugo and Sael were on the way, this young boy was displeased. The young boy was chubby and short. He had cheeks fatter than a pig's face. From the looks of it, it appeared that this boy was been spoiled the moment he was born in this world. But Dugo and Sael only ignored him as if they didn't hear anything. The two of them kept staring at the store with thoughts as if thinking so deeply. And this made the fatty boy angry and frustrated. He then opened his mouth again, as he pointed his forefinger at the two of them and bellowed furiously, “Didn't you hear me, two bumpkins? If you don't want to die, hurry up and don't block our way!” Only then did Sael and Dugo turn their heads behind them. But they both wore a confused expression when they found a boy at the same age as them, getting angry for no reason at all. The two of them couldn't help but trade a glance before they shifted back their gazes at the boy and asked simultaneously, “Are you talking to us?” When the boy heard them, the world before him suddenly turned dark. Veins popped out on his head and fists as he clenched his teeth in his hardest. How dare these bumpkins humiliate him? This was unforgivable!
