Acting Cool And Mysterious

“Please don't mind him.” The little princess forced a sweet smile as she responded in an apologetic tone. She stared at Dugo intently as she asked, “Then can you tell us why are you here?” Dugo Zugath didn't reply immediately as he stared at her for a moment. After which, he swept his gaze at the other people besides her with an impassive expression. As if he was done scanning them, he took a nod as he finally opened his mouth and replied unhurriedly, “I'm searching for the Portia.” Since everyone knew that it was next to impossible to find that flower, Dugo Zugath didn't hide his intention. And also, it was just a normal occurrence that someone would try their luck to find the Portia. All of them ended up failing though. That was why he didn't care whether the other party knew about it or not. After all, the other party might only think as well that the chance of him finding the Portia flower was extremely low to the point that he might even die before he could find its traces. On the other hand, the group of people before Dugo Zugath traded their glances with each other before they shook their heads and forced a smile. They could tell from Dugo's eyes and tone of voice that he wasn't lying at all. On top of that, they could also see from his words that he even believed that he could find the legendary flower. Just how strong his faith was? It was something that they couldn't have especially when they had searched for that flower a few times already only to fail again and again in the end. “Pfft... Hahaha!” However, the young prince who heard Dugo's words couldn't restrain himself any longer as he burst out in laughter. He even forgot that he just suffered two slaps from his little sister as he reopened his mouth widely and then mocked, “You're looking for the thing that don't even exist? Are you stupid? Let me tell you, even though the five of us did our best in the past few days, we still couldn't find the traces of that flower. So naturally, it is just a myth to satisfy the imagination of a lowly being like you!” “Just because you can't find it, doesn't mean that it doesn't exist.” Dugo Zugath replied nonchalantly as he continued, “Besides, you said that that flower is only a myth? But why are you looking for it in the past few days? Are you telling me that you all are stupid? Are you admitting that you all are lowly beings and you just want to satisfy your imaginations? “You...” The young prince who ate his own words ground his teeth furiously as he failed to find a word to retort. Being defeated in the battle of words, he released his energy as he roared, “How dare a mere slave like you answer me back!” Sapak! However, before he could even do anything to harm Dugo, he received yet another slap on the back of his head. This time, the sudden attack was imbued with energy as his face slammed heavily on the back of the horse. Thankfully, the horse wasn't just a normal one, or else, it might not be able to stand the force as it would fall and pass out after the face of the prince slammed on its back. And as a result of what had just happened, the one who had passed out was the young prince instead. His eyes were all white. He probably was still cursing the world why did he have such a cruel little sister. “Please don't mind him,” Just after the young prince had taken a "sleep", another sweet voice sounded. It naturally came from the lips of the little princess as she stared at Dugo again and continued, “Do you mind telling us where did you come from?” Dugo Zugath narrowed his eyes slightly. He stared back nonchalantly at the little princess and looked into her eyes. But the little princess was a little agitated when she saw Dugo staring at him like that as she wanted to avert her eyes away. It was as though there was some kind of oppressive aura coming from the kid before her as it made anyone lose their confidence and be shied away when looking at him. But of course, the little princess had still held her ground as she stared fixedly into Dugo's eyes. Although it was a bit difficult for her, and her calmness was stirred, she still managed to do so. In any case, Dugo Zugath could tell why was the other party getting wary against him. And that was because he was a slave. Although he didn't hold any significance at all, the other party must have thought that there was a powerhouse behind him. It had to be known that some powerhouse held dear their toy. If they harmed him, which was possibly a toy of a certain powerhouse, that powerhouse might be offended as they might even bring calamity to themselves. Seeing his capability and the way he acted before them, they must be thinking that the possibility of him having a powerhouse behind was extremely high. Of course, they couldn't attack him carelessly as well. One must know that some slave marks were special as they contained a soul brand of the master of a certain slave. This slave mark could inform the master about whatever might happen to that certain slave. Since they thought that there was a powerhouse behind Dugo, they must have thought as well that his slave mark was as such. And Dugo could only smile in his heart upon knowing this. Thankfully, after seeing the other party and took some guesses about their personality, he decided to act accordingly. If he saw the other party having blatant arrogance, he would naturally act submissive and powerless. But since he could see that the other party had some smart people with them, he decided to act cool and mysterious. Good thing, it appeared like he was successful. He managed to leave a good impression on them. So with that in mind, Dugo finally opened his mouth as he replied, “I think it is much better for the both of us if you don't know about it.” After saying such words, Dugo Zugath walked towards the edge of the cliff. The other party only stared at him from a distance not daring to stop him at all when he walked away. It was as though they were still scrutinizing him and still guessing about his identity. And the little princess, who had her gaze locked on the back of Dugo, couldn't restrain herself any longer as she opened her mouth and asked, “Wait! What's your name?” Dugo Zugath who was about to go down the cliff halted his movements. He didn't turn around or look behind as he replied with the same impassive tone, “Dugo Zugath.” It was at this moment that the young prince had woke up from his good sleep. Right after he opened his eyes, he immediately saw the back of Dugo Zuagath who was standing at the edge of the cliff. And seeing the other party trying to "escape", he turned furious again as he roared, “Where do you think you are going!?” But as if he didn't hear anything, Dugo Zugath jumped down from the cliff. As he went down, he naturally grabbed the vines to support his body from falling at a high altitude. He was as if a wild monkey adept in climbing. He did it pretty easily as he played with the vines and swung with it to go down. “You...” Seeing the other party ignoring him, the young prince ran with his horse towards the edge of the cliff. But seeing the figure of Dugo already far away as he was about to reach the woods below, he turned around and looked for his uncle. And when he saw his uncle and the other people who were already standing by his side, he didn't see anything strange from their expressions as he complained, “Uncle Jason, why did you let him escape? Can't you see that he is blatantly mocking and looking down on us? He must be sentenced to death and can't be allowed to live in this world!” “Shut up.” However, instead of Jason, what answered him was the cold voice of his little sister. He involuntarily shifted his gaze at her as he immediately felt a shiver down his spine. How could he not if his little sister, who had a darkened expression and suppressed anger, was about to eat him at any moment. If he continued pestering her, he might really take some "good sleep" again.
