Chap 11

Alidas POV

Soon I see Chris come up the driveway. He walks into the house. Looking around in awe. Dominic is on the phone with Nicholas Rede setting up a time to get together.

“We are going to meet him in his office tomorrow at 10am Alida” Dominic says to me. I just nod. I go back into the weapons room and unload my bag.

I come out and they are talking in the den. “If you want to fallow me I will show you to your rooms.” I say and I walk up the stairs. I show Chris to the guest room down the hall. Dom is fallowing closely behind me.

“This is my room. You can stay in it or have a guest bedroom” I say to Dom. He just walks inside and pulls me with him. I guess that means he wants to stay with us. Aria says with glee. I can’t help but smile.

That night I lay snuggled up next to Dom. Why does this feel so right. It’s the mate bond doll. It helps us relax and open to love. That makes since. The only person I let into my life and heart was John.

Th next morning I get up with dread. Why am I so nervous. I deal with headstrong macho alpha males all the time. They never scare me. It may be because this effects Dominic too not just us. We may not have a fear of dying but we have a fear of hurting him. Aria says to me. Dammit she’s right. I’m always right doll. I block her out.

I load and put my 45 in it’s holder in my coat and go into the kitchen to meet the boys.

“So are you ready Baby?” Dom says.

“As ready as I’ll ever be.” I say.

30 mins later we arrive at Nicholas Rede office. We quietly walk up to his office.

“Welcome, come in a sit down” a guy with blond hair and blue eyes says.

We walk into the office and I’m on high alert. My assassin instincts kicking in.

“Welcome back Alpha Dom, Bata Chris. And you must be Alida” he says has he puts his hand out to shake it. I slowly shake him hand keeping a watchful eye out. We all take a seat awkwardly.

“Well let’s begin. I’m here to talk to you Alida about who hired you to kill me and how did you get so close.” Nicholas says to me.

“As Dominic has already explained. I am bias. I take contracts without getting the middle. I take out the target and I get paid. Nothing personal. Your hit Contract was taken out by a man named Derek Hilt. He offered to pay $500,000. He supplied the key card to get on your floor. I then collected security details and observed your patterns and retune.” I said coldly.

“That little worm.(Nicholas says through gritted teeth.) how do we proceed.” He says looking straight at me.

“Well I don’t usually go back on the contract unless my own life is at risk but considering you are business associates and friends with my mate there is one thing that we can do. I will keep the contract but not pursue further OK, if I drop contract and notify my boss he will pass on the contract. It will be given to another associate. I cannot control what they do. I suggest that we take out Derek Hilt.” I said I’m my cold assassin voice. Dom is just looking at me in awe, I guess he’s never seen this side of me.

“Will you be taking Derek out or well that responsibility falls on me?” I ask in a curious voice.

“ Well I would like to take by care of this. This is my business and my coven. But I would like it if you and your mate would be there.” Nicholas said.

“That’s up to Alida.” Dom says with a smile on his face.

“Fine. We will be there. When will that be? I have other jobs to do. One in Paris and one in New York that need to be taken care of?” I ask coldly.

“ If you give me 10 I can ask Paul to have him to come into my office. “ Nicholas said and he nodded to the guy who let us into the office.

15 mins later we are notified that Mr. Hilt is coming in. We sit back and watch and he looks around. Probably wondering what the hell is going on.

“So Mr. Hilt your probably wondering what is going on. This is my friend Alpha Dominic black and his mate and Luna Alida. I wanted to run some things by you. Last night someone tried to kill me.” Nicholas says in a serious voice.

Oh so we are going to make him think he has the upper hand still.

“Oh my word. Really. What do you need from me” Derek says in a voice that almost sounds Sincere.

I look up and Nichols nods at me. I stand up and walk slowly over to Derek.

“Well Mr. Hilt Do you know who I am.” I say in a cold voice pulling a silver knife out and flipping it around in hand has Nichols sits back in his chair with his hands folded on his desk.

“Wh what! No I don’t know who you are and you don’t scare me little girl.” He said trying to sound tough.

“Well Mr. Hilt. This is the person you hired to kill me.” Nicholas says with a smirk on his face. Dereks face goes white and he looks at me with fear. God I love that look.

“Your your the Angle of Death. Ha prove it.” Derek barks out.

“Did I tell you not to threaten me a little worm.” I said coldly.

“It’s it’s you… kill him and I’ll pay you a million dollars now!” He yells at me.

Dom walks over and pulls me to him. I can tell his Wolf is not liking how Derek is talking to me. I snuggle in to him. His Wolf starts to calm down.

“Well you Derek. We have an issue. Either you turn yourself over to me and deal with the punishment or I let Alida kill you and I will pay her the same amount of money to kill you that you were going to pay her to kill me.”

Derek looks at Nicholas and back at me.

“I will turn myself in sir.” He says with his head down.

The guy Paul comes and cuffs him in silver cuffs and hands him off to warriors to take away.

“Thank you for your help Alida, Dom.(he nods) I will transfer 250,000.00 into your account for your help and trouble Alida.” Nicholas says. He shakes Dom and Chris hands before walking out.

“Let’s go home baby.” Dom says and we walk out hand in hand.
