Chap 10

Alida POV

I arrive back at my hotel and head straight up to my room. I quickly send off a message to the contract holder.

>Target has been shot but the scene was compromised. Target was shot in the heart with silver bullet.

Derek. I can take you out with before you know what hit you. Target will be eliminated soon

>just make sure it’s done and I will add another 50,000 for your trouble.

I need a shower. We need to go back and get our mate. Shut up Aria. It’s to dangerous and you know it. I shut her out. I don’t want to listen to her whine. Apparently a written rejection doesn’t work. I decide to regroup and go to one of the safe houses that John has set up around the world.

I pack my bags and check out of the hotel. Suddenly as I was about to get on my bike the most incredible scent hit me. Dammit, it’s Dom. I quickly get on my bike and head off to the safe house. The safe house is in the country side out side of London. I also need to get intel on Mr. Rede to see if he’s still alive or not.

When I arrive at the house I type in the code and head inside. I spent a lot of time here as a child. He would come here during the summer months. I quickly send off a text to John to tell him about the target and to keep a ear to the ground if he hears anything about Nicholas Rede.

I need to find a magic spell to cute the mate bond. There are hundreds of spell books in this library. Looking around brings back so many memories. I am determined to find a way.

Dominic POV

I can’t find any hotel with a Alida Craft as a guest. Chris thinks she is using a fake name so she can’t be tracked. So plan B we are going from hotel to hotel to see if I can pick up her scent or the mate feeling. After 5 hotels I’m starting to lose hope. As we enter the 6th hotel Axel jumps in attention.

I sense her!! He yips with joy. I see a girl wearing all black hop on a black motorcycle and take off. I grab Chris by the arm and run to the car.

C-What is it man?

D- that’s her.

I start the car and fallow the bike. She pulls out of the city and down some country roads. We slow down when we see her turn down a drive to a large manor. She gets out and types a code into the garage and heads inside.

C-“How do you want to approach this?”

D-“I think I’m going to knock and see if she answers.”

I slowly got out of the car and walked up to the door. Axel can smell her on the other side of the door.

Alida POV

Omg he found me. How the hell did he find me. I guess this has to be done. I slowly open the door and look right into Dom’s eyes.

He grabs me into his arms and hold me like I’m made of porcelain. Aria is purring like a kitten in my head. I slowly push out of his arms.

A-“what are you doing here Dom.”

D-“I have been looking for you since you left. Then Axel scenes you at Rede industries. I was there a meeting.”

A- “I was there working… by the way is Nicholas still alive?” He didn’t look happy at my question.

D-“ why did you leave Alida. We could of worked this out. And yes he’s still alive.”

Shit, I need to make up a plan to take out the target. I slowly walk back to the library and weapons room. I start to pack a bag with my riffle, throwing stars end arrows.

D-“ Alida are you going to answer me?”

There is so much pain in his eyes

A- “look Dom. I left because it’s dangerous to be around me. I deal with death all the time. I arms usually the bringer of it. I left to keep you safe.” I say with a sigh. I want nothing more then to wrap my arms around his and forget about this life but that’s not possible.

D- “please give me a chance Alida. I am not scared. I am a Alpha werewolf for Crying out loud.” He says with a chuckle “Do you own this place?”

I pause and look at him. I don’t know if I can give him a chance. Yes we can. He can keep us safe hun. Give him a chance. We could have the family we have always wanted.

A- “I will give you a chance under a few condition. 1) you can’t tell me I can’t work if I want to. 2) If I don’t wanna talk about work we won’t talk about it. 3) If I say your life is in danger and we need to hide we need to not argue and listen to me. Those are my conditions. And this house belongs to Lincoln, I used to spend summers here as a child.”

D- “yes baby but understand I am a Alpha and I protect what is mine. You are my life. I want to start a family with you and live a life with you.”

Dom walks over and hugs me right. I feel the rest of the world fall away.

D- “I think we need to go talk to Nicholas Rede. We won’t hurt you as long as your with me. He wants to know who hired you and why.”

I take a deep breath. This could either go good or horrible wrong.
