Chapter 13

Nkosi POV

Waking up the next day after speaking with the headmaster of this facility I truly believe I made the right decision coming here to get stronger. Once showered and dressed for the day I headed to the training grounds were out of nowhere Luna rush me from behind hugging me.

I kindly slide from her grasp and faced her saying "Good morning, Luna"

"Good morning Nkosi did you sleep well?" She asked

"Yeah, slept pretty good for the most part" I Answered

"We’ll let show you around the training grounds and then introduce you to your trainer so you can get started" she explained I just nodded my head while she took my arm and left me around showing me different equipment’s, the pools, trails for long distance running, etc.

As she was showing me where we do our evening runs every night before dinner time Beano pushes me into Luna.

"Aww look at the love birds’ tweet, tweet, tweet" taunting while making kissy faces.

I just roll me eyes and grabbed Luna's hand and pulled her to go into the opposite direction of that stupid Beano dude. Geez why is he even a guard fighter whatever. As we made away from Beano and his lackies Luna pointed out my trainer Lucifer who was also standing next to Gail talking.

"Nkosi great timing this Lucifer he will be your trainer and mentor while you're here. Also, he is my big brother" she stated so calming.

I was in shock that's Gail's older brother and the dude looks like he doesn’t play around. As Gail left Lucifer told Luna to go find some business that's not over here, I couldn't help but chuckle a bit and she didn't like that. I was going to pay for that later I can already tell but it was worth it.

Lucifer sat me down and asked me why I wanted to get stronger. I told him everything how Azaria the next Queen and Amulet welder and host of the Goddess Sahar and how I am her chosen guardian. He was surprised to say the least. Paused but he just nodded urging me to keep going and so I did. I told him how were attacked and how I didn't even stand a chance and that we lost the former queen that day Azaria's mother. He scanned my eyes to see I was lying but he couldn't find any, so we go up and began my training from hell. We trained in swords, bow & arrow, hand to hand combat, and even combat magic. Man, Lucifer is even more ruthless than Gail when it comes to training.

Once I was finished with my training with Lucifer Luna once again rushed me from behind to hug, but I anticipated side stepped her then catching her before running into the wall.

“Luna you seriously got to stop trying to sneak attack me” I stated while shaking my head

“Well, that’s no fun” she said while sticking her tongue out at me.

“Well, well, well what do we have here? Are the love birds having a bit of a spat?” Beano said teasingly

“What do you want Beano? Can’t you focus on yourself and you’re training instead what me and Nkosi are doing?” Luna spats back

Beano grabbed Luna by the wrist pulling her closer to him. “Luna why are you playing hard to get? You know we are perfect for each other so why fight it” he said while smelling the cruck of her neck.

Used one of my special abilities which is stealth and got behind Beano and grabbed his arm bending it behind him.

“Ouch! What the heck?! Let go of my arm!” he demanded while in pain.

“Sure, once you let go of Luna and apologize to her” I negotiated

He tried to act tough and refuse my I requested, and I bent his arm even further back close to touching the back of his head. He ended up caving in.

“Alright! I’ll do it!” He finally agreed

Once I let go of him, he apologized to Luna and let her go and left his tail between his legs. I turned to look at Luna to make sure she was good, and she gave me a nod informing me she was not affected. As I was scanning over Luna the office assistant walked over to inform me that the headmaster is requesting my presents. Oh, man what did I do now to the point I was summoned?

Naliyah POV

As convinced my sister and her boy toy. Oops I mean her fiancé to split up I got to be alone with the male guard which was my plan. I mean I know we are here to do a job complete the mission but can't help he is quit the looker.

"Princess look over there!" He yelled pointing to a well-lit room. At the end of the tunnel.

Finally, something besides just straight darkness that we've been walking for what it felt like hours but that's just me being dramatic. As we got closer the light in the room got brighter till we fully walked, and it was amazing. There were carvings and statues of my ancestors who welded the amulet before my sister and the goddess Sahar's statue standing big and tall right in front of me. We look around scanning the area mainly looking for the scroll that out father got us all the way out here get. As we kept looking my guard saw a chest like a treasure chest in the goddess's hand.

"Ugh! How are we supposed to get up there to see what's inside it" I asked in a whining tone

He just grabbed his backpack and pulled out some climbing gear. I feel stupid for just whining like a baby a second ago. I should've just asked him if had any ideas, well I will scold myself about it later for now let's hope the scroll is in there.

As he was climbing up and was about to reach the chest the walls began to shake like in earthquake. I told my guard to climb down so we can get out of here and leaving no room to argue back he did as he was told. Once he made it back down the ground cracked and then shatter beneath us and we fell down a tunnel like whole right into some kennel like cage. I didn't know what was going on or what had just happened, but I was looking all around to see where we landed and to my left I see my sister Azaria, Prince Alonza, and the female guard that went with them in the same kennel like cage as us. Now in my mind we are screwed.
