Contractual Love

Chapter 2

Shu Yan's POV

For seventeen years, I have had to watch this brat overstep my Daiyu. It is time, to cement a future for my daughter and showing this dirty girl her place. If she dishonors the family. Bai will have no choice, but to denounce her from the Yan family. Meaning, Daiyu will be the sole daughter and heir. I did not work so hard to save face in front of him and play ma to such a vile child to watch her take over everything in the future.

"Xue, go to the market and fetch some menstrual medicine for Daiyu at once."

"Very well, Madame."

I watched as she drove down the long drive, and out the gate. Moments later, two black BMW cars arrived to rid me of the burden once and for all. Once they halted, a tall, muscular man, with an expensive black suit and sunglasses emerged from the back of the first. I couldn't help, but gulp at the domineering aura eminating from him. Not once removing the sunglasses, despite it being night, he stalked toward me. Subconciously, I took a few steps back before recovering.

"She is pure?"

"Yes, sir."

"Are you certain?"

"Of course. Just as we agreed on."

"Very well. She will be tested once she has arrived by our doctors. If you are lying, you will regret it."

"I understand.", I said feeling the sweat collecting on my palms.

With that said, he climbed into the car, and was gone. Surely no one has touched something as vile as her. Two men exited the second car, shortly after he left. One, smaller man in a similar suit as the first with eye glasses approached.

"Where is she?"

"In her bedroom. Asleep. She is a deep sleeper, so she will likely not even stir."

He raised a brow, and I trembled slightly. I quietly led them to her room. As one went to carry her to the car, I proceeded to pack her things into a case. When I felt a hand placed on my shoulder.

"That won't be necessary. She won't need those where she is going."

I gulped and nodded as we made our way back down the stairs. Luckily, Xue hasn't returned or we would have issues. They gently laid her into the backseat, covering her with a large blanket. Why take such care of a s*x worker? I guess she won't be worth much otherwise. I watched as they drove away to ensure Xue didn't see anything occuring. Once in the clear, I headed to the master bath to soak and enjoy the newfound freedom we had acquired. Daiyu, I promised you the world. I may have failed to procure your biological father, but that won't be the case here. You will get any and everything you want and deserve.

Knock. Knock.

"Yes?"

"Madame, I have returned. Would you like me to take the medicine to Young Mistress Daiyu?"

"No need. I will do it myself thank you. Head to bed."

Good she saw nothing, knows nothing.

In the morning...

I was awoken from a paniced knock coming from the door. Looking at the window, it seemed to only be daybreak.

"Enter. Why are you waking me at this hour?"

"Madame, Young Mistress Ai is gone!"

"Gone you say? So? She is of age now."

"The Master will not like this at all."

"That is not your place. Carry on and do not bother him with such trivial things."

"Very well, madame..."

With that she left the room. Ugh, if only Bai had let me get rid of the old chrone. However, by the time my beloved returns, it will be far too late. She will already be a ruined, used up woman, unwanted by all. More importantly, she will be nearly impossible to find. Brothels are notorious for being well kept and secretive to protect the identity or workers and clients. If a worker was taken, they could easily be forced to divulge confidential clientelle. Which in that business, is a dangerous no no. What a lovely, bright day it is becoming. Up I go. I threw the curtains open with letting all of the sunshine through, before going about my morning routine. Face, hair, teeth and then downstairs for my breakfast. Along the way, I heard some of the staff whispering about Ai's sudden disappearance. Annoyed I clapped, gaining their attention.

"Get to work immediately. Anyone caught speaking of Ai from here forth will be fired at once."

With a nod and slight bow, they scurried off to busy themselves. Ugh, everyone acts as if she were the madame of the house. How absolutely absurd. Once I reached the table, Daiyu was reading from her books and eating her alotted breakfast. She had gained weight recently, especially on her face. Making it somewhat unsightedly. To ensure a proper husband, she must continue to work hard to keep an appealing figure. I smiled and hugged her from behind, before joining her. We quietly ate, before I decided to head back to my room for a nap. Staying up so late last night to ensure everything went throughoughly was trying on my body for sure. I gave my daughter a peck on her cheek before retreating to my room once more. The whistle from my cell phone could be heard as I entered the room.

Unknown: The doctor will be examining her today at 3pm.

Shu Yan: Very well. Do as you please, but do not feel obligated to contact me further.

Unknown: Understood, as long as everything checks out.

Still causing problems for now, but soon you won't even be able to move. You will finally get the life you deserve. Always taking Bai's attention from myself and my Daiyu. Slowly the garden will be rid of all of these unsightly tiger lillies once and for all. The garden and attic have been off limits to me for the passed seventeen years.
