13 Firian Firian’s heart skipped. The door was open. He was free. Fire licked through his veins as he ran to the bottom of the steps. He had to regain control of the Tanyuin forces, take them from Belik, but first he needed to find the Sentry holding his mind hostage. Then he would know if Kiria and Bard were alive. Even freed from his cell, he felt the claustrophobic, low-hanging buzz of the Sentry in the corners of his consciousness, its white noise replacing the music of possibilities.
