Its been raining cats and dogs since afternoon but there's no hope that it's going to end anytime soon." How am I going to get to the house? "Lena mummured under her breath." I'm so hungry too"I dont even have any food in the house, I don't want to bother dad until he sends me some money himself, but when?" she was wondering and thinking about her unsaid
to herself. She had not eaten any decent meal for almost 4 days but she keeps going and she can't ask her parents for money to buy food because she thinks she will stress them out, so, she only waits until her dad sends what he got.
All the time that she was thinking and struggling in her heart on what to do with the situation at hand a man's sweet voice rang in her ears" watch out" Not too loud or too low.he has been behind her since she got out of her college gates, he saw how distractive she was, because he always meet her almost everyday, he knows that today, she's atleast diturbed, she's not okay. He decided to follow her and if he gets a chance, he will ask her what the matter is, this is his girl, in his dreams, he sees her, in his mirror, he would assume and imagine her standing beside him.He has always liked and loved her, only that he has not find the courage to confess to her his love." Are you okay " he asked her in a trembling voice, apparently, it was too late for him to warn her because she was already trenched in cold dirty water.
A notorious track driver did it on purpose, he drived on her side deliberately spraying dirty water on her white skirt." I'm fine thank you" she mumbled in a voice that she could not hear it herself, but she knows he heard her, because he noded at her and pulled her off the road to the pedestrian pavement. He took off his jacket and draped it on her,"what are you doing?" she was shocked at his gesture. "Just put it on, you are all trenched you might catch a cold". he insisted on her wearing it.'I m the only one who should see you this way' he said to himself looking at her lovingly, and she blushed.
" Why are you looking at me like that ?" she was a shy girl and she was nervous when he looked at her in that manner.' Does he know that I like him'? she wondered because he is doing everything naturally as if they have been together for a long time, the truth is, each of them have been dreaming of the other and imagining beeing together, but they could not voice it to each other.
"I love you." he blurted out what he was thinking inside and it shocked him too, but he had to hide his shock, and decided to face the consequences.
