"What? wait, what did you just say?" She jumped abruptly,and she almost fall in a pool of water by the road side."I said I love you" he repeated in a more charming and calm voice looking directly in her shiny eyes, reading Lena's reaction. That's when he knew that he can be a very good actor; because only he knows how much his heart is beating and the calmness of his face is something he didn't know how he managed to put up.He was afraid of her rejection, he don't know how to chase girls, so he don't know what to do if a girl rejects him.
The woman in his arms was shaking violently instead, he thought, 'she's so cute when she is shocked '.they were standing awkwardly by the road so he had to shake her off from her stupor. "My name is Leo; may I know your name ?"he stated after a long pause.
" oh, I'm Lena,Lena Shadracks" She answered with a trembling voice.' Did he confess to me just now or this is my imagination?' she wondered if she was just dreaming.
" Shall we?" he interrupted her thoughts." yeah, but... but...."words could not come out of her tongue. "please come with me " he said calmly but the way his heart was racing contradicted his calmness. "Wait, where to?" she came back to her senses before she took a step forward, and asked him puzzled. " You are all drenched, your clothes are wet, do you still want to go to class tomorrow?" he asked patiently. " yes, but that's not the way to my house."she stated a matter of factly. "Excuse me sir, your jacket "She wanted to return the jacket but he will not allow these wondering eyes to look at the woman he loves." Just wear it until you change to dry clothes, can't you people's eyes on you?" he was bursting in furry, 'didn't she hear me telling her ' I love you ' is she timid or just being stupid?'
" ooh" that's the only thing that could come out of her lips.
He led her to a high end clothing shop,walking around the shop, his eyes landed on blue simple but elegant dress, designed for a girl like his woman.
Pointing at the dress, he told the sales girl to remove from the display and handed to him, he went to the inner clothes section and chose the size he thought would fit her. He also took a purple b*a, and a trench coat for her.
Looking behind, he saw a stupified girl standing there with a blank face, he could not help chuckling which brought her back to planet earth. " Go change" He stretched his hand out to her, handing her the clothes he chose without even her confirmation but she didn't say anything but a "Thank you " as she follows the sales girl to the changing room.
When she came back, he could not help but stare at the beauty infront of him.His mind was running wild, wondering if she was his lover in their past life. He snapped back to reality when the cashier gave his card back.
" I have paid for it lets go hace a chat."He stated as if he has the final say." You look sterning"He complimented her in a hush tone."All thanks to you" She answered with a blushing face, not believing that he chose everything for her, that too her exact sizes.
I really love you, can be my girlfriend?" he asked all over a sudden.
" Yes" she blurted even before he finished.
"Wow,you can't wait?"Am I so handsome?" he teased her.
"Don't get me wrong, but i don't like beating around the bush." she pointed out with an obvious excited voice. If I want something I go straight to it , I'm always a go getter, remember that "
