The smell of coffee and bacon wake me up. I’m not sure what time it is, I must have dozed off after Nate and I’s pre-dawn session.
I didn’t feel him get out of bed. It had been a restless night of bad dreams, unanswered questions and s*x, although that part was enough to always make any disturbed sleep into a good night.
I grab a shower and throw on some jeans and a black tank as I head downstairs and see Nate in the kitchen plating up breakfast. I walk over to him as he hands me a coffee
‘Good morning’ I say as I kiss him.
‘Good morning to you too’ he smiles as he slaps my ass as I walk to grab a seat.
There’s a knock at the door.
‘Come in Jackson’. I look at Nate. He grins, ‘mind link’. He shrugs as if its a simple as that and not some weird supernatural texting.
