Chapter 3: Suprising News

293 Words
f**k. "You and I? really?" I gestured to the both of us. I couldn't believe it. I would've remembered at least one tiny detail about that unwanted night. Plus, that event took place a year ago, before I entered the publishing company that I am currently working for. He stared at me, his face obviously masked with disbelief. He really looked so stupid. "You really don't remember?" He asked. Then he fished out his phone from his back pocket and scrolled through his gallery. "Then you leave me no choice but to show you this sweetheart," he said before showing me a picture of myself, asleep, with my arms wrapped around his bare chest. Now it's my turn to stare at him with disbelief. There's no way that this chic in his photo was me. I don't look that hot when I sleep. But when I noticed the necklace dangling on the girl's neck, I confirmed that it was indeed me who was in the picture. "Oh my god, how did this even happen?" I gasped. He clicked his tongue before continuing. "We had the chance and so we grabbed it" was his reply. "Your vague retorts don't suit your face" I grumbled before I decided to walk past him and went for the kitchen. I can't believe I just had s*x with Jeff's twin brother. This is a problem. How can I ever face Jeff after this news? With all these thoughts swarming inside my head, I reached for the fridge and took out a bottle of water. Think Ashley. Try recalling what happened. After a moment of whacking my brain for the forgotten memories I had with that jerk, I finally remembered that one fateful day. June 23, 2019, my birthday.
