Emily crossed her arms over her chest, pressing down her cleavage in her black and purple sundress, and started tapping her foot, staring down her fated mate with a cheesy smile the size of the Texas sky. He stood opposite her, arms crossed, scowling again from the moment he closed the office door behind him.
