Chapter Nine
About a week later, Philip was out of town, and Laura and Harriet were going to spend the day together. As she drove round to Laura’s, Harriet thought how nice the Apple and Cherry Blossom trees looked in the warm sunshine, even though they were almost at the end of their bloom.
“Hello Laura, lovely to see you.”
“You too Harriet,” replied Laura as they had a cuddle.
“Laura?”
Laura looked at Harriet and saw she was giving the hand signal. Her heart began to beat a little faster as she replied, “Yes, Auntie Harriet?”
“Has Philip ever taken you out on a rowing boat on a lake?”
“Yes, he has?”
“And did you enjoy it?”
“Yes Auntie. It was great. I found it relaxing being rowed along by him and just being able to relax in Nature.”
