Chapter Twelve It was a couple of weeks after the Dinner Dance, and Philip and Laura were together on a Saturday evening. Laura decided to ‘push the boat out.’ They were eating out, having Italian food at an intimate restaurant not far from home. Philip looked smart in his jacket, trousers, shirt and tie. He looked every inch the professional in his attire. As she looked at him in his black, plastic framed, large lens glasses, Laura thought he looked rather like a Professor. The way he parted his straight, black hair, from his side parting, across his face just added to the effect. Laura put her glass of wine down and looked across the candle-lit table at Philip. “I’m really proud of you Philip.
