When he arrived back at the dairy, he found Jed and Joe were still in the new house. Marissa and Laura had joined them. He started to go inside the bunkhouse, but Jed called him over.
“Did you find a horse to suit you?” he asked.
“Yes, I am now the proud owner of Lord George. I have to go back in the morning after the bank opens to pick him up,” said Les with a smile.
“Why do you need a horse?” asked Marissa.
