Doug dropped Lily off at Marsha’s before heading to Danny’s. He entered Danny’s to the greeting of Les and Jed. Les took him around and introduced him to anyone he didn’t know. Jed took him to the bar where Brian furnished him with a drink.
“So, do you want to play some cards, or do you just want to wander around, visit and listen to music?” asked Jed.
“I think I will just wander around. Maybe I’ll play cards later,” responded Doug.
“Sure,” said Jed. “Anytime you want to play, just come on over. We are playing for quarters, so you won’t be fleeced.”
Doug laughed and patted Jed on the back.
