Chapter 15: Relocation

Tricia’s POV

  How did I never know that I was meant to be a Queen? That would explain a lot of what has been happening since my witch side was channeled to heal my stab wound, and the immense power I have felt growing within me. I guess we need to get training started as soon as possible. I need to figure out what powers I have and how to control them.

  “Okay, so what all have you seen in Elementals that might make it easier to control and manipulate the things around me?” I asked.

  “I will see what I can do about getting you some help with controlling it. I will help you with the knowledge that I have.” Ashley said. “Tell your guards to be on the lookout for a scrawny tan wolf, it’s a rouge but it’s hear to help, so it need to be brought here unharmed.”

  “You guys hear that?” I asked through the mind link.

  “Yes Alpha, I have him shifted back to his human form, clothed, and we are heading your way now.” Alec, one of the guards on the East gate, said.

  “He is on his way out.” I told Ashley and found it slightly strange that she let out a sigh of relieve but chose to ignore it and figured I would save it for another day.

  “Ashley you will have to meet them to get your friend, take him to the kitchen and have Silvia fix you both something to eat. I need to go check on the pack members that came to us from Sunrise that way I know who all we have to initiate into the pack and we also need to make the announcement that you, lover boy, are taking over the pack and we are merging with your pack.” I told them both and then told the pack that we are having a mandatory all pack meeting.

  I made my way over to the meeting hall and see that we already have members in  the main room taking seats. I make my way to the podium and begin just as the last of the pack gets in. The only ones who were excluded from this meeting were the people on patrol, the people that went to town to get the necessary food items to feed the whole pack tonight because we are going to be having a barbeque, and those who are in school or taking care of the pups.

  “Thank you everyone for being here. I have called this meeting because there are somethings that we need to discuss. Firstly, I have come to a decision on whether or not I will step down from being your Alpha and will take my rightful place as Luna, I can now confirm that this is what is going to happen. In addition to that, we will be merging both packs together.” I said and about half the pack when into panic.

  “What’s going to happen in regard to living arrangements?” One pack member said.

  “This is outrageous, we cant have them move onto our lands.” Another yelled.

  “ENOUGH! I have said what I needed to. This is my decision as Alpha of this pack and you can either deal with it or become a rouge. The choice is up to you. Now, since we have that covered I need all the members that were apart of the Sunrise pack to stay here and if any of them are doing their jobs then they are to be relieved of duty and get here immediately. You are all dismissed, we will give the remaining people ten minutes to get here and then we will go over where you all have been staying and where you would like to be.” I said then made my way back to the pack house because I needed to get a water bottle and my blue spiral notebook with my black ball point pen.

  Once I have what I needed from the pack house I make my way back over to the meeting hall. Its about as big as a recreational center and can hold both packs comfortably without having anybody standing. My parents knew I would be their only child and with what I know now I’m assuming it has everything to do with Kathrine. I will find out one way or another. I also need to find out more about the prophecy I am supposedly apart of.

  I walk in and see everyone standing waiting for me and I guess I was so distracted I was a few minutes late.

  “Sorry I’m late. What I need to know is how many of you are going to be joining my pack and for those of you that aren’t I need the name of the pack you wish for me to contact on your behalf to speak with their alpha so that way I can get you to your remaining families. Where it stands for the children that were orphaned we will allow their families to come get them but only after I run extensive back ground checks on the members that wish to take them in.” I said, “Now if you would please get into two separate lines and Alpha Richards and I will take down your names and the name of the packs you wish to be apart of.” I informed them and watched as they did as I asked.

  It took us about 2 hours to go through everyone and by the time we are done it is time for the barbeque to begin. I will be including everyone from the Sunrise pack because I don’t want them to feel like I am kicking them out. I want to make sure they all feel welcome. I get back to the pack house and get out one of my suits to put on it has a light purple shirt and jacket along with black slacks and dress shoes.

  I took a shower and then got dressed deciding that it was best not to do anything with my hair since I will be leading the pack on a run after the barbeque for all of the new wolves to become acquainted with my members and to make sure their wolves know who their alpha is.

  I walk downstairs and see that several of the female members that will be initiated tonight are taking part in bringing the food outside along with there being several grills of hamburgers and hot dogs being cooked by some of the new male members including Darren. I was pleased to see that Ashley and her friend are here as well. Depending on what happens with her friend I may talk to Justin about letting him into the pack.

  I walk over to them and smile brightly at my aunt and her guest.

  “Hello, my name is Tricia Smith and I am the Alpha of this pack and Ashley’s niece.” I introduce myself with a smile and hold my hand out for him to shake.

  “I’m William, William Shaw.” He said and shook my hand and the second he touched me I got a glimpse of something. And I’m not sure what it means.

  I jerk my hand away and just look at him as Ashley comes up to me and grasps both of my shoulders shaking me into reality.

  “What did you see?” Ashely asked.

  I close my eyes and as I recall the vision I had it’s a little blurry but I can clearly make out me and Justin sitting on a thrown with Ashley by my side along with William and Kelsey, and Allen, Kol, and a woman I haven’t met before are on Justin’s side. We are in a huge building with werewolves and witches alike bowing before us.

  I open my eyes and I know without a doubt I can trust William so I just smile and say, “I think I caught a glimpse of what is to come. I know now that I will have a strong alliance with him and I know he isn’t a danger to anybody.”

  Ashley smiled at me and said, “I see your powers are coming in nicely, but we can talk about this tomorrow.”

  After my vision I decided it was time for me to get my food then make my way over to my mate.

  “What was that all about?” Justin asked.

  “I got another power, turns out I see Premonitions as well.” I told him with a proud smile on my face.

  “Well, that’s awesome. We can talk about it when we come back from the run with the pack.” He said.

  We spent another hour or so eating and mingling with everyone before I noticed it was time for Justin and I to take our places on stage. Along with the elders who are going to merge our packs as one and give me my role as Luna.

  “Can I have everyone’s attention please.” I said. My voice booming and everyone went dead silent.

  “I would like you all to know that not only are we going to be accepting new pack members, but we are also going to be welcoming a new Alpha along with the merging of our two packs. Tonight, I step down as Alpha of the Red Moon pack and rise as the Luna I was fated to be.” I said with pride lacing my voice.

  Elder John stepped forward and called the Sunrise pack members to the stage. They all came up and one by one they all accepted their new pack and Alpha.

  Now it’s mine and Justin’s turn to accept our new roles.

  “Do you Alpha Justin, promise to lead this pack with honesty, compassion, and trust for as long as you shall rain?” Elder John asked.

  “I do.” Justin replied with a smile.

  “Do you Alpha Tricia, agree to willingly step down from the Alpha title and step up as a Luna to the two packs. Do you promise to help your Alpha lead these packs with honesty, compassion, and trust for as long as you shall rain?” He asked me.

  “I do.” I said.

  Elder John made a small cut in the palm of our hands and pushed them together. The second our hands touched I felt a wave of power and then heard many voices in my head that started to give me a headache, so I instantly shut them out.

  “I give you all your new Alpha and Luna” He said and the crowd erupted in hoots and hollers.

  Justin howled then led me away to go take off our clothes so they wouldn’t be ruined. We shifted and came out to find many wolves where the human forms were standing. Justin led the pack run with me at his flank and all of our newer pack members directly behind us so our wolves got acquainted with one another.

  After the pack run, we all went to our respective places except me and Justin since we went to our office. We started making calls to all the alphas and I was pleased to realize that most of the members were from the Shadow Worrier pack. So, I made the call to Alpha Jeremiah who said he would inform the families and would send a few cars to get his new pack members. I decided to go get a few hours of sleep before they arrived so I could see them off.

  The second my head hit the pillow my eyes shut. I felt the bed dip and my mates arm pulled me to him and buried his face in my neck. I fall into a blissful sleep and I think I heard Justin say something, but I just brush it off and decide to ask him when we wake up.
