Chapter 1
As I lay in bed, sleeping. Selena came to me again in a dream. I found myself in the same forest clearing by the stream that I had seen before. But something was different. The air was thick with fear and a feeling of dread was washing over me. Selena was standing by the river which, when I was here before, was running crystal clear and the deepest stops were as blue as the sky. But now the river was still and seemed to be stagnant. The deepest spot was now dark and murky. I approached her slowly. She turned to face me. Her face was distraught and her eyes were weary. She looked at me with a weary smile. Her glow that was once as bright as the moon was now faded. Her hair, which was shiny and blowing gracefully in the wind, was now dull and just hung lifeless on her shoulders. I froze in my tracks at the sight of her. Her eyes that once shined as bright as the moon were now hollow and lifeless. She looked at me in the eyes and smiled, but her smile was not a genuine smile. "Kara, my daughter, I am so glad you came. It has been so long," Selena said with a look of longing. "Selena, what is wrong with you? "You do not look like yourself?" I asked as I hugged her as gently as I could. I could even feel that her nice soft warm skin was now cold and hard to the touch. I pulled back from the hug and looked at her in the eyes, "Selena, what's wrong with you? "You do not look so good?" She looked at me and smiled a weary smile before speaking. "Kara, my dearest, something is draining my powers and my life source and I can not locate this thing that is killing me. It is up to you and your son to locate it and stop it before it completely destroys me. Now you must go back. "I do not have the strength to keep you here any longer." Just as I reached and hugged her one last time, I was pulled back to my body. I sat up in bed, beads of sweat running down my forehead. I looked over at the clock, and it had only been an hour since I had been away. But how could I tell Atlas what I had just been through, and what was happening to Selena? How could I could help her? As I laid there in bed, I finally managed to fall back into a restless sleep. Due to my wolf pacing in my head all night, I woke up the next morning with a massive headache because of it. Calypso, my wolf, was going crazy in the back of my mind. "Can't she be still and quite I am trying to sleep here." Mizuki, my dragon, whined as well. "I am sorry I am just thinking about what Selena had looked like, and she was talking so cryptic as well. "I have a feeling that this has to do with us all." Calypso replied. I managed to go back to sleep for a little longer, but this time I saw Kale standing at the edge of a waterfall looking up towards the sky. Something massive was flying towards him. I could not make out what it looked like. All I could make out was that it was dark and had red fiery eyes. It dove straight for Kale and picked him up in its sharp claws and flew away. Before I could wake up and register what had happened, I shifted to my wolf form right there in bed and bound out of bed, smashing through the door and ran straight to Kale's bedroom right down the hall. Calypso stopped right in front of our pup's door, pawing and whined, wanting into the room. She wanted to see for herself that he was safe in his room. It took a minute for a very groggy-puffed-eyed boy to open the door. "Ma' ma Calypso, what's wrong? "Kale asked. Calypso licked her pup's face and rolled on her back. Kale rubbed her belly and moved away from the door to allow her into the room. He knew that Calypso wouldn't come to his door unless there was something really wrong. Calypso walked in and as soon as Kale shut his bedroom door, she let me have control, and we shifted back to our human form. "Mom, what is up with Calypso?" Kale asked. "She was just worried about your son. "Mom had a bad dream, and it scared her really badly, and she wanted to check for herself that you were safe." I replied to a very bewildered child. "I am fine mom Conner is trying to settle her down right now." Conner is Kale's wolf. Which we are trying to keep secret from the pack because in our pack no one gets there before their 18th birthday. We did not want to scare anybody. But I did want to let the pack know that Kale had his wolf already, but Atlas refused, fearing for his son's safety considering everything that had happened a few years back. Calypso finally settled down and went back to sleep in the back of my mind. Atlas came busted through the door with a worried expression on his face. Upon seeing that Kale and I were safe, he admittedly calmed down. He mind linked one of our repair guys to come fix our son's bedroom door. "Dad, I am tired of hiding Conner from the pack. You want me to be safe, and I understand that, but we can't hide him from the pack till I come of age. Plus, Conner is getting antsy because he wants to shift. This will be my first shift, so we will need to do a shifting ceremony," Kale told his dad with pleading eyes. "OK, son, you won." You will have a shifting ceremony at the next full moon, which will be in three days." Atlas told his son as he hugged him tightly. I gently grabbed Atlas' hand and began to pull him out of our son's room. "Come on dad, we have a ceremony to plan and little time to do it." Atlas followed me out the door and I shortly closed it behind us and walked towards our room to rest for the night before planning for the ceremony. But I knew i wouldn't be getting much sleep tonight because Calypso was already showing me images in my head of what she wanted, and I was already starting to to get aroused and soaking my panties. As soon as we got to our room, Atlas immediately closed the door, scooped me up in his arms and latterly threw me on the bed and began to rip my clothes off my body. We had made love to each other well into the night and fell asleep in each other's arms.
